Don’t ask Natalie Portman to start planning the nursery for her upcoming baby, she says it’s way too soon to start thinking about that. She tells People:

I’m very superstitious,” Portman, 29, said Tuesday at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie No Strings Attached, in which she stars with Ashton Kutcher.

“I’m very Jewish that way. We don’t do that.”

Considering the actress has been busy promoting three movies in the past few months, she says she’s ready to take some time off after the birth.

“I’ll be out of the public eye after [the baby's born],” Portman said, adding that she will be laying low for a while and will just take any future career opportunity “as it comes.”

“Selma and Jason are ecstatic!” an insider tells Star. “It’s still early on but they have started telling family members and close friends. Selma never thought she could be this happy. Her life right now is a dream come true!”

The star of movies including Legally Blonde and Hellboy was married to Ahmet Zappa from 2004 to 2006, before filing for divorce. She later dated her Kath & Kim on-screen husband Mikey Day from 2008 until 2010.

Dad-to-be Jason is the founder and creative director for EVER clothing line, a favorite of celebrities from Brad Pitt to Kate Hudson.

“Jason is a very much a free thinker,” the insider continues. “Although he has plenty of money and a nice house in the Hollywood Hills, he prefers to live in a tepee on a horse ranch in Malibu. That is one thing that will have to change when the baby comes!”

Martha Stewart needed 9 stitches to close up a bloody gash on her upper lip this week after her dog accidentally headbutted the domestic goddess in the face, according to TMZ.

Martha was getting ready to leave her NY home Tuesday when she leaned over to “whisper goodbye” to her dozing french bulldog, Francesca. But Martha says she must have “startled” the dog, because Franny shot upwards and hit Martha in the face … busting her lip open.

Martha says she “felt a bit of whiplash as blood gushed forth from [her] split lip.”

Unable to stop the bleeding herself, Martha first called police to ask for a ride … before remembering that she had a driver on standby.

Martha eventually made it to the emergency room — where she was promptly sewn back up.
