Gwyneth Paltrow: “People are so mean to me”

Gwyneth Paltrow covers the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK, on newsstands Thursday.

“Any time you do anything with any degree of sincerity, people make fun of you,” she says in the magazine. “That’s totally fine. I don’t care. I don’t read any of it. My thing with Goop has always been, if you don’t like it, then don’t log onto it. There were a couple of times when I thought, ‘I’m just gonna stop doing it. People are so mean to me. I don’t want to do it.’ But then I was like, ‘Who cares what some lame person out there says?’ I was in Italy once, and this old man came up to me and said, ‘I had the best time in Nashville because of Goop.’ And that is so worth it to me.”

Paltrow says people are nicer in England, where she lives with her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and two children, Apple, 6, and Moses, 4.

“In England, people are cool,” she says. “They’re really laid back and calm. Beyonce did the school run with me once, and everyone was fine. They also have really good anti-paparazzi rules. If you’re driving in a car and they make you feel freaked out, that’s against the law. They can’t put you in a magazine unless they pixelate the kids’ faces. I miss America, but I love living in the UK.”

What else does Gwyneth love? Beyonce!

Beyonce is the most talented human being on the planet. She has so much mastery over what she does. It’s not even confidence – it’s on a whole other level. It’s mind-blowing. I watched her (perform) a lot to see how she did it, and I was like ‘Shit! I can’t do that!’”

FIRST LOOK! Official movie poster for Judd Apatow’s ‘Bridesmaids’ revealed!

‘Bridesmaids’ is the new movie from director Paul Feig and producer Judd Apatow, the men behind such comedy sensations as ‘Knocked Up’ and TV’s ‘Freaks and Geeks.’

The movie stars Kristen Wiig as Annie, a maid of honor whose life unravels as she leads her best friend, Lillian (Maya Rudolph), and a group of colorful bridesmaids (Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper) on a wild ride down the road to matrimony.

I cannot wait! I bet this is going to be hilarious!! This movie is Judd Apatow’s first movie with mostly women!

Kim Kardashian FREAKS OUT over release of naked ‘W Magazine’ photo shoot!

How many of you watched Kourtney and Kim Take New York last night? Were you surprised to find out that Kim completely lost it over the release of her controversial November 2010 W Magazine photo shoot?

On last night’s episode, Kim announces happily to sisters Khloe and Kourtney that she was so excited about an upcoming spread in the “ultimate high fashion magazine”. She told her sisters that although she took the photos nude – her body would be obscured by artwork.

“Even though I agreed to pose nude, I will be fully covered in artwork,” Kim said.

When a sneak peek at the magazine came through her Blackberry – the star completely lost it. “This is just absurd,” she cried. “This is serious porn!”

Kim admits she felt “taken advantage of” by the magazine and photographer Mark Seliger, after they opted to leave the photos as they were.

It didn’t appear to bother Kim for long – as she was spotted later that night clubbing in NYC.

Will she do nudity again? “I’m definitely not getting naked or taking my clothes of again, not even if its Vogue,” Kim then told her sisters. “OK – maybe if it’s Vogue.”

She drives me nuts. If you don’t want naked pictures of yourself out there – don’t pose for them! She had to have thought the pictures would make their way to the public eye eventually. I thought the whole thing was very annoying.

Nicole Kidman: ‘Why we kept Faith a secret!’

Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban recently welcomed daughter Faith, via surrogate. She admits now – that keeping quiet about their new daughter was one of the hardest things they’ve done.

“I wanted to be able to tell everybody because I was so excited about her,” Kidman told Giuliana Rancic on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

“We just decided this was our thing together,” Kidman, 43, said of keeping the news quiet with hubby Keith Urban. “It kind of just perpetuated itself.”

“[And] it protects her,” Kidman added, “and it protects everyone in the situation.”

Nicole was a presenter at last night’s SAG Awards.

As for the name Faith Margaret, Kidman says she was influenced by family — and her adopted southern hometown.

“It’s that southern double name,” she says. The name Margaret was her grandmother’s name, who Kidman told Rancic “had her last baby at 49.”

Said Kidman of her beloved grandmother: “She’s my inspiration.”

I’m in love with Nicole Kidman’s stunning black Nina Ricci dress she wore last night at the SAG Awards! What do you think?

‘Glee’ cast shined on the red carpet – but left completely empty handed at the SAG Awards!

Despite being winners on the red carpet, the entire Glee cast went home empty handed after losing out in all three categories they were nominated for.

After sweeping the board a few weeks ago at the Golden Globes, where Glee took home Best Television Series, the show didn’t manage to scoop any awards.

Jane Lynch also lost out on the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series to Betty White in Hot In Cleveland.

The entire cast also missed out on the gong for Best Ensemble for comedy, which went to Modern Family.

But the stars were gracious in defeat, tweeting their congratulations to their rivals after the show.

Amber Riley wrote: ‘Congratulations Modern Family! You totally deserve it!!!!’

She added: ‘Thank u guys for all the love, seriously means the world to us Gleeks! Gnite.’

While Lea Michele tweeted: ‘Lea What a great night! So happy for Modern Family and the other winners tonight! Such a fun night!’

‘Boardwalk Empire’ leaves ‘Mad Men’ empty handed at the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards!

Just last year ‘Mad Men’ was the critics favorite. This year, that hasn’t been the case, and ‘Boardwalk Empire’ is walking away with all the awards! Just like the Golden Globes, the ‘Mad Men’ ensemble left the SAG Awards empty handed – being overshadowed by ‘Boardwalk Empire’ and ‘The Good Wife’.

The AMC series was up for three drama awards — best series ensemble, best actor for Jon Hamm, and best actress for Elisabeth Moss. SAG voters followed the Golden Globes lead and opted for “Boardwalk Empire,” that show’s star Steve Buscemi, and “Good Wife” star Julianna Margulies, respectively.

“Mad Men” won SAG’s ensemble award the previous two years, but series creator Matthew Weiner was taking it all in stride after the ceremony.

“If you don’t like being at something like this (and not winning), you shouldn’t be in the business,” Weiner told The Hollywood Reporter. “We’re out of work right now, and I get to hang out with my family,” he added, referring to the cast. “This is my family.”

While the show has been renewed for a fifth season, Weiner recently said he doesn’t yet have a contract (AMC is still negotiating with Lionsgate, which produces the drama) — but he’s “not looking for a new job.”

“Mad Men” has failed to win any individual acting awards at either the SAG Awards or the Emmys, although Hamm did receive a Golden Globes statuette in 2008.

I have to agree, ‘Boardwalk’ was the better show last year. I’m not sure what was up with ‘Mad Men’ – but it was definitely off. I had a hard time with Don and Betty being divorced. I felt disconnected from the show (even though I LOVE it). I definitely think ‘Boardwalk’ was just plain better. What do you think? Agree with me?
