Jon Gosselin has been preaching for quite some time that he wanted to quit the public life – for a more regular, normal life. Instead of being paid to appear on TV, he yearned for a 9-5 job. Life & Style reported yesterday that Jon had left the public eye for good – and had taken a regular 9-5 job in marketing.
But – he wasn’t a fan of “normal”, Jon has already handed in his resignation.
RumorFix.com reports that Gosselin has already left the office for good — in part because of the kids. “It involved too much travel for him,” says a source. “[Jon] needed to be near his eight kids, that’s why it didn’t work out.”
Judson Birza (aka Fabio), the winner of “Survivor,” season 21 in Nicaragua, was arrested Wednesday afternoon on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, according to TMZ.
Law enforcement sources tell us cops noticed Birza at around noon riding a skateboard in the street — which is illegal. They stopped Birza, noticed he was acting strangely, and determined he was under the influence.
Santa Monica police arrested Birza and took him to the station, where he was booked and jailed.
Birza was also booked for an unrelated DUI warrant as well as a probation violation.
He quickly posted his $37,000 and was spotted leaving and hopping into a stretch white limo.
Fabio told TMZ, “Dude, this is such bulls**t … I got treated like a baby.”
Moments after he got into the limo — Birza and his buddies popped a few Tecates to celebrate his newfound freedom.
I absolutely love Amos Lee, have been since his self-titled debut album back in 2005. ‘Arms of a Woman’ off that album still gives me goosebumps. His new album is a beautiful folky-pop masterpiece. He even throws in a couple duets with Lucinda Williams and Willie Neslon! His soulful voice makes the lyrics he sings to life. My favorites on the album are “Violin”, “Stay With Me” (featuring Priscilla Ahn – love her too!) and “El Camino”.
On January 25, Amos Lee will release Mission Bell, his fourth album for EMI’s Blue Note Records, and his richest and most fully formed album to date.
