Just reading Midori Liqueur magically transports me back to when I had just turned 21 – and put Midori in absolutely EVERY drink I mixed. It’s so sweet, it tastes like candy! Midori and sprite, MMM! Those were the days (how did we survive 21?). I can’t drink the stuff anymore – it’s too sweet! It’s a hangover in a bottle!

Kim Kardashian, reality TV star and spokeswhore to just about every product out there, has just been announced as the new face of Midori Melon Liqueur and its new “Stand Out” marketing campaign. More from Toofab:

“Much like Midori Melon Liqueur, Kim truly makes a statement — for her unique, fun, sexy style, and groundbreaking entrepreneurship,” says Eric Ariyoshi, Midori’s Brand Manager. “She is not afraid to stand out from the crowd and be herself, similar to how Midori stands out with its unique melon flavor and brilliant green color.”

Kim, meanwhile, says she’s a fan of the liqueur, “Whether entertaining at home or having a night out, Midori Super Sour cocktails really make a statement. Chic Midori green, the perfect fashion accessory.”

As part of the deal, Kim will appear in the company’s new advertising and make personal appearances where she’ll show off her favorite cocktails and provide style and beauty tips.

The campaign kicks off in April.

Did you guys watch Kourtney & Kim Take NY last night on E!? It premiered last night, and it has a very familiar feel. The Kardashians are everywhere! First we watched them in L.A., then Miami. Now New York? Will Kourtney and Kim be able to keep viewers tuned in? My first opinion is Kim and Kourtney don’t have the same chemistry and Khloe and Kourtney did in Take Miami. I don’t know what it is – but seeing Kourt and Kim together is much less exciting and entertaining!

Kourtney and Kim are staying in the Smyth Hotel while they open their NYC Dash botique. Scott Disick, Kourt’s BF and baby daddy made the move with them, and it’s pretty obvious from the premiere that he’s going to be a big factor in this new series (barf).

I found Kim really annoying in this episode. I thought she came off as whiny – and if I have to hear any more of her being “single” I might barf. (We know she’s not actually single anymore – so hopefully this won’t last long) Kim’s makeup is atrocious. She needs to tone down the eye makeup – and wear false eyelashes that are a little more believable. She looks terrible! (I know I may be alone here – but I’m finding her to look very plastic lately, and not hot at all!)

Kourtney and Scott are all over each other in this episode, and that grosses me out as well. Any man who dresses like that looks strange kissing a woman in the first place – if you get my drift.
