Kirsten Dunst spoke with Vanity Fair about her two year big screen hiatus and a steamy sex scene with Ryan Gosling in their new movie, ‘All Good Things.’

Here is an excerpt from her interview with VF:

You did a nude scene in All Good Things, and I think it’s your first.

I was naked in Marie Antoinette, but that was just from behind.

The nudity in Marie Antoinette was cute by comparison. This was probably the saddest nude scene of all time. Why do it at all?

I don’t know. I was comfortable with it and it just felt more vulnerable, you know? There’s actually a very good reason for it. And the way we shot it went a lot further, but it ended up getting cut.

Further? Like how much further?

What happens is, I come into the shower with Ryan, and for my character, it’s a smart ploy. She just found out that she got accepted to a medical college, and he’s afraid he’s losing her. He’s threatened by everything that’s happening to her and he just had this weird moment when he jumps into the water and gets their boat and writes their telephone number on it. What happened in the shower scene, she comes in and we start making out, and I gesture that I’m going to go down on him. And then I do.

Wow. How Brown Bunny of you.

Well, it didn’t go that far. (Laughs.) But the scene did get cut out. Not that we showed everything, but you saw what I was doing to him. I thought it really made sense. In her own way, she’s being as manipulative as he is. She’s trying to get what she wants. They both are. That’s what the scene was about for me. It’s her gesture of coming into the shower and making him feel good, and in doing so, trying to get what she wanted. So I thought it was appropriate.

You’ve been out of the public eye for a few years. Your last movie was 2008’s How to Lose Friends and Alienate People. Why’d you go all Brian Wilson on us?

Well, we made All Good Things two years ago, and it never got released for all kinds of reasons. If it’d come out a year-and-a-half ago, would I still have taken a break? I honestly don’t know. I did take some time out, and I’m happy about it. I moved to New York and took a minute to just focus on myself. It was nice to slow down and not just jump into something. I could take a deep breath and really think about what I wanted to do next, and wait for a project that I was really passionate about.

You have great chemistry with Jake Gyllenhaal.
AH: If you don’t have chemistry with Jake Gyllenhaal, then there’s probably something wrong with you, because he is the most insanely charismatic man. All you have to do is listen to him and you’re instantly charmed.

Is there a role you haven’t played that you would like to one day?
AH: Pretty much all of Ibsen. Most Shakespeare. Most of the roles I’d love to play are in the theater. In terms of my career, I would like to kill an alien at some point. I would like to drive a spaceship and maybe be a spy. I’d like to kick a little ass.

Any mentors?
AH: Laura Linney is one of my favorite actresses. Sometimes when I am trying to remind myself what good acting looks like, I turn to her performances. Oh, and Meryl Streep, obviously, and Sigourney Weaver. Cate Blanchett never ceases to amaze. Marion Cotillard is a new one for me. I’m just in awe of what that woman does. Did you see Inception? I mean, all of that talent and all that emotion… she’s just absolutely stunning. I am so lucky—there are a lot of great women to learn from.

If you could change something about yourself, what would it be?
AH: I’d love to increase my ability to go with the flow. I can be a worrier.

What is something most people don’t know about you?
AH: I like to ride horses—it is pure joy. I can’t tolerate spicy food—I have a weak stomach. Oh, I am a terrible driver. Like, absolutely horrible. Like, fear the road if I’m on it.

Any guilty pleasures?
AH: Watching adolescent comedies—the gross ones starring teenage boys. When I’m really tired I love to watch that particular kind of fun and raunchy humor, like Superbad. Another guilty pleasure is furniture design magazines. They’re like porn for me.

Eva Longoria is currently going through a divorce from NBA star Tony Parker. She’s not letting a little thing like divorce get in her way of showing off her hot legs!

Looking gorgeous in the newest edition of DIRECTV’S ACCESS Magazine for subscribers, the ‘Desperate Housewives’ star talks about her favorite family Christmas traditions.

“Every holiday we’ll get together — my aunts and sisters, all the women in the family — and we’ll do an assembly line of tamales,” Longoria said (via OK! Magazine). “It’s one of my favorite times of year.”

Speaking of family, Eva also revealed a surprise relative: concert cellist Yo-Yo Ma. She doesn’t, however, share his musical ability: “He’s got all the talent,” she says.

Reese Witherspoon received her Hollywood Walk of Fame star on Wednesday, and she brought along daughter Ava, 11, son Deacon, 7, and boyfriend Jim Toth (not pictured). The kids’ dad is Ryan Phillipe, whom she divorced in 2006.

Could her kids be any cuter? Ava looks exactly like her!

Kim Kardashian is supposed to be digitally dead right now, supposedly taking part in Keep a Child Alive campaign in which celebs are “digitally sacrificing themselves” in the name of AIDS awareness. Kim, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake and Alicia Keys are just a few of the celebs who are reportedly going to stay offline/Twitter/Facebook until $1 million has been reached. Kardashian and others have shot provocative ads where they pose in coffins and have even filmed “last tweet and testament” videos. They supposedly logged off today (World AIDS Day) and will not sign back on until $1 million has been raised.

But that didn’t stop Kim from posting on her blog today.

After noticing 2 girls posting harassing and threatening comments to one of her fans in the comments section of her blog, Kim immediately responded by writing:

“I noticed today that two girls were harassing and threatening other fans on my blog in the comments section.

I have banned these girls from the site and deleted their hateful comments. I will NOT stand for any form of bullying or any hatred on my blog and anyone who threatens another fan, or thinks that it is ok to bully someone else here, will be blocked immediately.

I want you guys to feel like you can come here and chat with other fans and that you will be respected, not threatened by people who obviously have nothing better to do than bully other people. There is nothing cool or funny about bullying.

ANYONE that leaves hateful or negative comments about my fans will be banned. My fans are supportive or me and of each other, so if you consider yourself a fan of mine and then you come here and attack other fans, I’d rather not have you as a fan.”
