Pam Anderson shows off more than her famous assets when she graces Playboy for the 13th time.
The actress-turned-activist displays another little-known skill: she’s a poet!
In a poem she penned to accompany the eight-page nude pictorial in the mag’s January issue, Anderson, 43, muses about the new Sexual Revolution and the need to do good.
“Our best isn’t good enough — right now our eyes are far-reaching,” Anderson, who first landed the cover of the mag in 1989. “Please let’s show the good in us. . . The brilliance. . . The wonderful. . . It’s abundant — it’s just not tapped as it should be.”
The mother of two, who refers to herself as “just a sex symbol” even calls out “All the negative ads run by our politicians,” and urges them to “Put that money to good use.”
She also shows her support for President Barack Obama, writing, “So many are with you. . . I can think of many positive parts of now. . . That you spearheaded.”
Her final thought? “May all your bombs be bombshells.”
35-year-old Angelina Jolie looks super skinny and gaunt at the premiere last night! She looks exhausted, in all honesty. She’s wearing a Versace dress that is some sort of glove/dress hybrid.
Angelina reportedly struggled with the dress all night. The low neckline and glove combo was difficult – and at one point Brad was seen holding the dress up.
Angelina has recently admitted to wearing mostly black (my kinda girl!).
She said: ‘As Brad’ll tell you – and my kids – apparently Mommy only wears black.
‘I like to get up so every pair of pants goes with every top, every dress goes with every shoe. I’ve a very tiny closet.
‘Brad’s always laughing at me. Some days, yes, I have the nightgown that looks like a dress that I can sleep in and pick the kids up at school.’
Speaking on the red carpet, Angelina admitted she was happy but surprised to be nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy Or Musical in the Golden Globe nods.
She said: ‘When we found out we were laughing because it’s the first time that I’ve been in the comedic category so it’s new for me.’
We’re laughing too, Angie – but for different reasons.
Despite the pair’s heavy promotion for the film, it has performed below industry expectations.
Filmed on a $100million budget, the movie received largely negative reviews from critics and only brought in $17million in its opening weekend at the U.S. box office.
I love me some Topher Grace! What do I love even more? 80′s movies! This movie, also starring Anna Faris (love her!) looks great!
The movie looks like Topher will be reprising his role as Eric Forman, a grad who isn’t really going anywhere with his life. This isn’t a huge surprise, considering the movie written by Jackie and Jeff Filgo – the writers and producers of That 70′s Show.
The movie comes out March 4, 2011. Watch the trailer above!
Trivia: At around 1:38 – the man proposing to Anna Faris is her husband, Chris Pratt!
TIME Magazine has announced its 2010 Person of the Year, and it’s the same guy who starred in one of the year’s biggest films — sort of. Mark Zuckerberg, the 26-year-old Facebook creator and subject of Oscar front-runner ‘The Social Network,’ notched the honor “for connecting more than half a billion people and mapping the social relations among them; for creating a new system of exchanging information; and for changing how we all live our lives,” TIME writes.
Zuckerberg beat Wikileaks founder Julian Assange for the top spot.
Zuckerberg became the world’s youngest billionaire at age 23. Facebook has more than 500 million users today.
David Fincher’s ‘The Social Network,’ dramatizing the inception of Facebook with Jesse Eisenberg portraying Zuckerberg as an antisocial, almost sociopathic programming whiz, has been notching many honors on the road to Academy Awards season. The film accepted Best Picture honors from the National Board of Review, the New York Film Festival and various critics’ groups and just earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Picture (Drama).
Gwyneth Paltrow reveals a lot of skin last night at the premiere of her new movie, ‘Country Strong’. The Oscar-winner looks quite sexy in her floor-length Pucci dress. Her body looks amazing!
Also on the red carpet, Kristin Cavallari, Tim McGraw and wife Faith Hill, Leighton Meester, Tobey Maguire and his wife.
“The Fighter” star Mark Wahlberg makes an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” today (Wednesday, December 15). The actor reveals how he found out about his recent Golden Globe nominations. Here is a snippet from the interview:
Ellen: What a day this is for you. You found out this morning, you woke up and, what, you got a phone call? How did you find out that you got nominated?
Mark: Yeah, my agent called at 5:30 in the morning. Woke up my wife and my 11-month-old who was sleeping next to us in the crib. That was the only downside about the phone call. That she woke up screaming but yeah, they called and said that I was nominated, the movie was nominated, all my fellow cast members were nominated, the director was nominated and Boardwalk Empire.
Ellen: And Boardwalk Empire as well.
Mark: Three nominations.
Ellen: So personally, three and six for the movie.
Mark: Yeah. It’s crazy. I’ve been nominated a bunch of times but never once, I don’t expect it but just to be invited back to the show, my wife is excited. It’s like a date night for us. She’s talking about getting a gown so I get to see her all dolled up.
Ellen: And the Golden Globes are fun. It’s a really fun awards show.
Mark: Yeah, they give you food and drinks and mingle.
