Nick Cannon has all but confirmed the reports that his wife Mariah Carey is caring twins!

E News reports:

When asked by E! News to clear up the twin rumors, Cannon cryptically referred back to plural pronoun heard round the world.

“It’s a touchy issue, because you never want to speak on too much stuff too early, but my wife, at one time, she referred to her stomach as ‘they’ and that probably wasn’t the wrong thing for her to do,” he said. “That’s all I’m gonna say.”

That’s probably all he has to.

Just as long as they don’t name either of them Cleophis, then it’s all good. Double congrats to Nick and Mariah!

After her highly publicized divorce from golfing legend Tiger Woods, we’re hearing that Elin Nordegren may want to jump back into the fire! (With a new guy, of course)

Is it too soon?

She’s already said to be dating a South African college student, who she was said to be growing closer to. A close pal of Elin’s said, “Elin is a home type gal and loves being with her children, so she may be more eager to remarry than she should be at this point.”

The friend also revealed that Elin is also eager to have more kids.

Teen Mom Amber Portwood was pulled over by Indiana police after she was suspected of driving under the influence. When she passed a breathalyzer, they officers found that she didn’t have a valid drivers license!

A source close to the situation said, “Amber was swerving all over the road and crossing the yellow line so the police pulled her over thinking she was drunk. They gave her all of the field sobriety tests, including a breathalyzer.”

She passed the tests and was just “out of sorts” due to medication that she’s taking. She was given a ticket for $150 for driving with a suspended license.

The snitch said, “She knows she’s not allowed to drive, yet went out and bought a new 2006 Dodge Magnum. The police let her go with a ticket because she was only a few blocks from her home and the passenger in her car agreed to drive the rest of the way.”

David Arquette admits that he’s having a nervous breakdown!

During a recent appearance on Howard Stern’s radio show, Howard asked, “Are you having a nervous breakdown?”

David responded, “I believe so”, adding that “everybody is worried and concerned about me.” He even admitted to seeing a psychiatrist weekly.

He admitted he’s been partying pretty hard — especially at a recent holiday party hosted by Adam Sandler, in which he drunkenly called Tom Cruise “Sean.” “I was a little wasted,” Arquette says. “Someone says ‘Hi David!’, and I said, ‘Hi Sean! Then I realized it was Tom Cruise. And his beautiful wife [Katie Holmes] was there.” Cruise wasn’t offended, Arquette said. “Tom was cool about it…I was so embarrassed. I was like ‘I gotta get the f*** out of here.’”

Why the heavy drinking? “I’ve been drinking a lot because I’m heartbroken,” he said. “It’s really a personal, traumatic thing.” But he added that he had a “semi religious” epiphany recently: “When I drink, I become a maniac.” Arquette said he’s not drinking at all anymore. “When you wake up and reality hits you, it’s hard.”

As he’s said before, his estranged wife Cox, 46, “didn’t want to be my mother. But I kind of need a mother.”

He’s lonely, too. “I want love in my life,” he said. “I need love in my life.”

The father to Coco, 6, wants more kids — and he wishes the mom could be his ex girlfriend Drew Barrymore. “I know she is with Justin Long and everything, but would cool would an Arquette-Barrymore child be?” he said. “From a pure breeding standpoint.”

He put another obscure rumor to rest: “I [am] not messing around with Kelly Osbourne.”

Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift have been in the news quite a bit with their new relationship. Now, Jake is saying that he’s taking his time.

Jake was recently nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in Love And Other Drugs and was asked who he would be bringing to the awards ceremony. Laughing, Jake said, “Dude, I didn’t think I was getting nominated. It’s going to be a long, slow burn for me. I’m not rushing into anything!”

The star admitted he was “asleep” and “didn’t wake up” when nominations were announced at 5:30 a.m. L.A. time.

“It was pretty unexpected. I got a call and then I checked my phone and I had 25 e-mails, and it was either disconcerting or exciting. In this case it was exciting,” Gyllenhaal said.

How psyched is he? “I’m going to really soak this in. I’ll be with my family and I’m excited for the holidays. I’m not going to deny any awesome feelings.”

This sounds like such a romantic idea! Nick Lachey and fiancee Vanessa Minnillo might just be tying the knot in Italy on New Year’s Eve!

According to reports, that might just be the plan after the happy couple spend Christmas together here in the States.

Nick went on The Rachael Ray Show and said, “We’re going to be in Tuscany for New Year’s. Who knows, we may be married in Tuscany, too!”

Of course, Lachey may not be the first to know where it’ll happen. He makes clear that Minnillo, 30, is calling the shots.

“I just basically told her, I said, ‘Tell me where to be, when to be there and what to wear, and I’ll be there,’ ” he says.

The singer also jokes that he should be off the hook for a Christmas present, given his recent very special gift. “I got her a nice ring,” he says. “Do I have to get her something else?”
