Kelly Osbourne is no stranger to the criticism of the press. So she recently took to her Twitter to stick up for her new costar Miley Cyrus about all the bad press she has been recieving.

“This really makes me mad,” Kelly wrote. “Miley is one of the most hard working respectful women I have ever worked with I am learning a lot from her!”

“Actually it’s the other way around Miley has us all on a health kick. Gym/early nights. There really scraping the barrel on that one!”

Recently Miley was caught on video smoking a bong and laughing hysterically. The press has been all over the story since the video was leaked.

Bret Michaels is one lucky man! He’s survived many recent life threatening ailments, has his own hit reality show on VH1, and is now engaged to his on and off again girlfriend of 16 years Kristi Gibson.

Michaels gave Gibson a “promise” ring last Christmas, but is now explaining why it is now transforming into her engagement ring.

Back in July, the Poison frontman explained the ring to UsMagazine.com. “[It's] a ‘promise ring with benefits,’ It’s a promise of an engagement but without a date,” Michaels said, noting that it was a “beautiful moment” on Christmas 2009 when he gave the gift.

“We realize that we already have the children; we’ve already got that done,” he continued. “If you love and respect someone, and Kristi and I do, I think that one day it will be right for me to make an honest woman out of her,” he said, laughing.

At the time, Michaels explained that the “promise ring” would serve as Gibson’s engagement rock as well. “That was a hefty ring!” he told Us. “I said ‘that ring is going to encompass a friendship ring, promise ring, and engagement ring.’”

Hefty, indeed: Sources tell Us that the couple designed the 4-carat platinum cushion-cut ring with micro pave diamonds at a cost of over $200,000.

“She’s been very patient and strong,” Michaels told Us of Gibson, who stood by his side this year throughout his scary brain hemorrhage and subsequent stroke. “It just made our bond for each other that much stronger. It gave us a bond that’s unbreakable.”

Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits set to take-off when they were evacuated from a Delta flight Tuesday morning due to a knife that was found aboard the plane.

One of the passengers found a large knife in the pocket of the seat before the plane was set to takeoff from LAX to Maui. Secruity was called.

Calling the incident “scary,” Hilton writes, “They just finished the security sweep of the plane. About to board again. So strange a knife got on board. Can’t wait to get to Maui.”

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the 4-inch serrated blade appeared to be no threat: the knife was actually a box-cutter belonging to the airline crew.

I guess you never know what can happen when you are on a public flight. Thank goodness everyone is ok and safe.
