Nearly three months after separating from her husband, Christina Aguilera has gone public with her new man — holding hands with him in L.A. over the weekend — but an insider tells Star she could be courting more heartache!

Star reports that the Burlesque star is jumping from a bad marriage to a risky romance with production assistant Matthew Rutler, who’s also a guitarist in the Nate Mott Band. Christina met the New Jersey native last February on the set of Burlesque when she was still married to Jordan Bratman and they developed a secret friendship. Now, with her divorce in the works, she’s moving on — quickly! — and has officially been dating Matthew since September.

“Christina is completely taken with Matthew,” an insider tells Star. “But he’s a wild rocker type with a reputation as a ladies’ man.”

And Matthew has been soaking up the benefits of having a famous girlfriend! “He networks like crazy with all the big names she introduces him to. He’s a major operator,” adds the insider. “And everything is on her dime, because he’s broke. Matt used to live in a crummy apartment with roommates; now he’s at her Beverly Hills mansion every night. He’s in heaven!”

He may be on cloud 9, but Christina’s friends are worried about the smitten star.

“She’s so fragile and isn’t seeing clearly,” says the source. “Everyone is concerned that it’s too much, too soon.”

Anne Hathaway and James Franco have reportedly been asked to host the 2011 Academy Awards.

In a big shift, it looks like the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has moved away from its more mature hosts and instead has chosen these hot young stars!

Deadline reports, “the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has asked James Franco and Anne Hathaway to host the Academy Awards, and it ‘looks like’ both young stars have accepted the offer.” This is going to be one sexy Oscar telecast!

In addition to hosting there is a very good chance James and Anne could find themselves nominees, him for 127 Hours and her for Love and Other Drugs!

Anne made a memorable appearance during the 2008 awards when she danced and sang with host Hugh Jackman during the show’s opening number.

Seems like Lindsay is spending a lot of time outside rehab lately!

Over the holiday weekend, the 24-year-old actress did some shopping, hitting up Gucci and Michael Kors.

Lindsay has been ordered to stay in treatment until January 3, after violating her probation earlier this year when she failed a drug test.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt take their older children, Maddox (b. Aug. 5, 2001 ), Pax (b. Nov. 29, 2003), Zahara (b. Jan. 8, 2005) and Shiloh (b. May 27, 2006) to celebrate Pax’s 7th birthday a day early with a party cruise on a riverboat.

The group took Pax’s birthday festivities to the water in the early evening, renting the luxurious Josephine riverboat out of Port Debilly, alongside the Eiffel Tower, for a birthday cruise on the Seine. (Earlier in the day, the family enjoyed hot-air balloon rides!)

“We made a short cruise upriver. They stayed on board for about 90 minutes,” a crewmember tells PEOPLE.

“Angelina is a very beautiful woman in person. She was friendly and spoke to me. Brad,” the female crew member said with a sigh, “is very, very nice and very outgoing. He played a lot with the kids.”

There was an assortment of cakes and sweets, and the boat was decorated with blue and yellow balloons.

The birthday celebrations capped a busy weekend for Pitt and Jolie, who also took daughters Zahara and Shiloh shopping on Saturday.

Kim Zolciak from “Real Housewives of Atlanta” took a smoke break while watching an NFL game a few weeks back — it wouldn’t be a big deal … but Kim is three months pregnant.

Here’s the timeline: the photo was taken in Atlanta on November 7, outside the Georgia Dome. Two weeks later, Kim and baby daddy Kroy Biermann (who plays for the Atlanta Falcons) announced they were expecting.

In case you’re thinking “Maybe Kim didn’t know she was pregnant when she decided to smoke” — well, think again. Kim told a tabloid this week she denied the pregnancy rumors in October because “[I] wasn’t through my first trimester — you never know what could happen.”

Calls to Kim’s reps were not returned.
