After meeting on a Facebook page for former Bachelor and Bachelorette cast members, Tara Durr, who was on season nine, and John Presser, who was on season five, fell in love.

On Nov. 6, they married in front of 400 guests at the Slammer & Squire golf course in St. Augustine, Fla. Resplendent in a strapless Simone Carvalli gown, Tara tells Life & Style it was the day of her dreams. “Everyone danced the whole night,” Tara says. “We all had such a great time.”

The two are currently having a more private celebration in Thailand, where they’re spending 12 days on their honeymoon.

She talked about the possibility of hoofing up while phoning in this morning to Ryan Seacrest’s radio show.

“They’re planning to feature a same-sex couple. You’re at the top of the list,” Ryan told her.

“Goodness, you really do break news,” Porita replied startled.

But she didn’t pass.

“I’m not gonna pass, let me think about it,” she told him. “I used to be a ballet dancer, it’s not completely a pass. You never know.”

Channing Tatum has jumped to the top of the list for the lead of Sony Pictures Entertainment’s 21 Jump Street. I’m told that Tatum will soon be in negotiations to star alongside Jonah Hill. Production will begin in the spring.

Based on the 1987 Stephen J. Cannell series that was one of the Fox Network’s early successes and launched Johnny Depp, the movie was scripted by Michael Bacall based on a story he hatched with Hill. The film will be directed by Cloudy with the Chance of Meatballs helmers Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

I’m told that the studio has met with a bunch of potential leading men and that Tatum and Hill matched up well. Both look youthful, which helps since the film is about undercover officers who infiltrate schools to fight crime. (more…)
