Juliette Lewis was the victim of a hit-and-run last night!
The actress was being driven home from the premiere of her new movie Conviction (pictured at the premiere above) when another car t-boned her vehicle around 10:19PM.
The Lincoln Town Car she was riding in was completely totaled (scary!).
Lewis’ rep adds, “[Juliette] went to the hospital to be checked out and is a bit banged up and sore but otherwise thankfully okay. She is now resting at home.”
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the driver of the other car — a Honda — fled the scene. Cops discovered the Honda a few blocks from the spot of the crash … but the suspect is still at large.
Luckily she’s fine! That could have been awful!

Director Sam Raimi has officially been given the reins to direct the prequel to ‘The Wizard of Oz’ (which up until now was a project that was still very much up in the air as Raimi continued to work on his World of Warcraft adaptation). You’ll remember that this is the film called ‘Oz: The Great and Powerful’, and it tells the origins story of how the Wizard of Oz became, well, the Wizard of Oz. It’ll track him from his days as a circus wrangler through to when a tornado brought him to the magical land of Oz.
One of the big reasons Raimi wanted to do ‘Oz ‘is so that he could work with Robert Downey Jr., who’s still in negotiations to take on the role of the Wizard (fingers crossed those negotiations end with Downey Jr. in the part). Raimi is better known nowadays for his work on the ‘Spider-Man’ movies, however the Raimi that sticks in my mind is the one responsible for the ‘Evil Dead’ franchise and the gory, gruesome images that resulted (he later turned the franchise into a parody of itself with ‘Army of Darkness’).
While ‘The Wizard of Oz‘ is mostly known for being cute, a modern turn would likely be more twisted as with the recent ‘Alice In Wonderland’ movie, which was made by the same studio behind this ‘Oz’ movie, Disney.

Facebook cofounder Mark Zuckerberg recently took his staffers to see The Social Network, UsMagazine.com has confirmed. After the screening, a source tells Us Zuckerberg treated his staff to apple martinis, the same drink actors Jesse Eisenberg and Justin Timberlake sipped during their first meeting in the film.
Asked for comment, a Facebook rep tells Us: “To celebrate a period of intense activity at Facebook, we decided to go to the movies. We thought this particular movie might be amusing.”
Have you seen The Social Network? I saw it over the weekend, and it was absolutely amazing. Amazing!! Hands down the best movie I’ve seen this year, maybe the best I’ve seen in a couple years.
Director David Fincher and writer Aaron Sorkin are pure genius together!

“Priceless,” Nicole Richie’s second novel, is a heart-warming story of a girl who loses everything then learns about what really matters in life.
In addition to being an author, Richie — the socialite, former reality TV star and daughter of singer Lionel Richie — is now a mother and entrepreneur.
“Priceless” is the follow-up to Richie’s debut novel, “The Truth About Diamonds.”
Read an excerpt from Chapter 1!
As the beautiful young woman strode through the international arrivals terminal at JFK, several people turned to look. A flight attendant noticed the way she carried herself, the clothes she wore, her shoes, and guessed she’d just walked out of first class. She was right. A young man pulling espresso paused, distracted by the girl’s obvious sexuality and lovely figure. She felt his gaze and turned slightly, favoring him with a brief smile that made his hand jump, causing him to scald himself. A man in a Savile Row suit lowered his Wall Street Journal and raised his eyebrows. Hmm. Charlotte Williams was back. Her father would be happy. The market would go up. He folded his paper and called his broker.
