Reese Witherspoon has been dating agent Jim Toth since January. Things have been going great. So great, in fact, many suspect the couple will be engaged soon. “Jim knows Reese is the one for him. It’s what he’s been waiting for,” a source tells PEOPLE. “[Getting engaged] is a natural step for them but they’re not in a rush. There’s no deadline, no timetable. But it’s something in the future.”
Rumors are swirling around today that John Mayer and Kim Kardashian are hookin up. This doesn’t make any sense to me, she doesn’t look anything like his type. And he looks nothing like her type. Can this be true? According to Page Six it might be!
Serial celebrity dater John Mayer may have his eye on curvy Kim Kardashian. Sources said Mayer recently was out one night with the sultry star, who’s in town filming her new series.
One source said, “They brought along other friends, but the idea was to see if they would hit it off.”
Kim’s made it clear she’s on the hunt for a new man in New York. But Mayer wasn’t amused when we reported they were seen chatting in the lobby of Sirius XM last December.
He wrote on Twitter, “I see @kimkardashian at Sirius/XM and say hello like a gentleman and you want to spin a story at my expense? [Bleep] you!” Reps for Kardashian and Mayer didn’t get back to us.
“I’m not gonna do Playboy in the near future,” Farley told Ryan Seacrest Wednesday morning of the magazine’s reported $400,000 offer. “There is a better opportunity out there that everyone will probably see soon, and that’s what I’m going to go with.”
When asked by Seacrest, “what’s better than $400,000?” Jenni (JWoww) Farley responded “You’ll have to wait and see!”
But it’s not as if Farley doesn’t have the body for it: She told Seacrest, who introduced her as “Hey, Skinny,” that she’s dropped 12 pounds. “I think I gained three or four pounds of muscle,” she added. “I’m actually dating someone new [Roger Williams] who loves the gym and I go to the gym with him.”
“We shot some stuff with her,” said Harry Shum Jr., the awesome actor/dancer who plays Mike Chang on the hit series. E! talked to him last night at the launch of Ubisoft video game Just Dance 2. “She’s been great.”
Shum was tightlipped about the storyline, but said “We kind of just showed up on set and were like, ‘Oh, hi Gwyneth Paltrow.’ She’s really sweet, really classy. You look at someone who’s an Oscar-winning actress and you think they’re going to act a certain way and she’s just a regular person.”
Considering her recent jump into country music, we think it’s safe to assume that Paltrow will be showing off her vocal chops on the show. Shum said, “I’d love for her to sing.”
As for getting some onscreen romancing with Mr. Shuester (Matthew Morrison), Shum said, “You see her in Iron Man and she plays…the semi-love, semi-good friend [and] semi-boss. I think she can play it all.”
Taylor Swift has been in the news quite a bit lately, with the release of her new album, and her reported song to John Mayer. She opens up to Parade Magazine about marriage, songwriting and the inspiration behind her new album.
On marriage…
“I’ve seen marriages be really great, and I’ve seen them be not so great. I’ve seen that people have to really work through love and fight for it, and I’ve been in relationships where you have to fight for it, and is it worth it? I don’t think that love can possibly be easy all the time, in fact most of the time it’s going to be hard. I think it’s important to try to find someone who’s going to tell you ‘This is worth it’ when you’re scared, and tell you ‘I’m never leaving you’ when you’re doubting it. I think that’s the most important thing.”
On her new album, Speak Now…
“One of the things that make this album different is that a lot of the time on my albums before this, I was dreaming about what relationships could happen if this were to work out or I was mourning the loss of the relationship that I could have had if this guy had been around and realized what he should have realized. On this one, if I’m missing someone, I’m missing an actual person that I was in a relationship with, and if I’m apologizing to someone it’s about someone I was actually in a relationship with. In the last two years I’ve experienced so much in the spectrum of love and how to handle life when it throws itself at you really fast. Sometimes you don’t say the right thing and sometimes you don’t know what to say so you don’t say anything.”
On songwriting and her very personal lyrics.
“I think the thing that makes me so obsessed with lyrics is that you can say exactly what you mean, or you can use a metaphor and make it a little bit of a code to crack. I like to make songs that are really detailed, really honest but make you wonder a little bit who they’re about. Sometimes I’ll mention names, sometimes I’ll mention dates and times and details and it’s all pretty clear. But I don’t need to make it so obvious that other people can’t apply their lives to it.
“I feel things really intensely, and whether that feeling is hurt or missing someone or happiness or saying I’m sorry to someone or being completely angry at someone and wanting to lash out at them, I write that into a song. I think if you were to open anyone’s diary from the ages of 16 to 20, you would find a lot in there that people don’t put forth. I just happen to publish my diary for millions of people to read.”
On criticism of her voice.
“Some days I’m fine and I can just brush it off and go about my day, but some days it absolutely levels me. All I can do is continue to try to work hard every single day and feel everything. I think it’s important to feel things because I then write songs about that. The whole idea of being criticized and the fact that that entered my life made for a song that I’m very proud of on the record, called “Mean.’”
Here’s the video of Angelina Jolie on Charlie Rose, and according to Franklin Meyer, she is coked out of her mind.
Franklin claims to have been Angelina’s coke and heroin dealer, starting back in 1997.
Meyer says the starlet was on drugs during her Jan. 14, 2000, appearance on the talk show.
“She was at my place. I was filming her and she’d taken coke,” Meyer tells Life & Style. “She went directly to do The Charlie Rose Show.”
And his story certainly seems accurate. A 24-year-old Angelina went on the show to promote her new film Girl, Interrupted. During the interview, she’s shy and spacey, stumbles and stutters over her words, rambles on about her tattoos and is very fidgety. At one point during the interview, she becomes overly excited when discussing how hard it was to let go of her characters Gia, (from the film of the same name), and Lisa, in Girl, Interrupted, and apologizes as she accidentally hits the microphone hooked to her chest. And Angelina didn’t go home and sleep off her binge after she finished. Meyer says, “She did the show, then she came back over !”
After watching the video, I’d say she definitely looks high. Watch it – what do you think?
