Today Lindsay Lohan has to appear before Judge Eldon Fox in her probation violation hearing. She’ll either be sent back to jail – or sent back to rehab where she’s spent the last month or so.
Lindsay has to face the judge over her failed drug tests last month. Lindsay’s lawyer tried to meet with the judge early – and the judge refused. Many experts believe the judge is not going to go easy on Lindsay this time around. Even though Lindsay has spent the last few weeks in rehab, that won’t make much difference, according to sources. Lindsay was obviously trying to make herself look good in the judges eye – and many think it’s not going to work.
Lindsay and her lawyers have arrived in court – and I’ll update you as soon as I know what the judge ruled!
Zach Galifianakis explains to interviewer Scott Aukerman that although he was excited by the success of The Hangover, he’s not into a lot of the showbiz scene. Furthermore, he’s against too much gunplay in movies, and he’s even declined several roles on moral grounds.
When it comes to “a movie you’re acting in,” says Galifianakis, 41, “you don’t have a lot of control – you just show up and vomit your lines out. I mean, I’m not the boss. I’m in a deep protest right now with a movie I’m working on, up in arms about something. But I can’t get the guys to … I’m not making any leeway.”
When Aukerman starts to reveal the title of the movie, Hangover 2, Galifianakis stops him cold.
“It has something to do with a movie I’m working on, yeah,” concedes Galifianakis. “I’ll tell you about it later. It’s very frustrating.”
When I watched The Challenge: Cutthroat last night, I actually got a bit choked up when I watched Laurel attack Big Easy, and then later when Eric broke down. It was shocking, the things Laurel was saying. She just wouldn’t stop – she kept going, and going. Here’s just a bit of what she said to him.
“You’re ugly, and no one will touch you. All I know is you’re fat and ugly. You can’t hook up with anyone in this house. If I saw you on the street, I would never touch you. You got a red head, and a tiny d*ck. You come out here a fat a**, and you leave here a fat a**.”
It was horrific! I – for one – think blaming things on alcohol is weak. Your true self comes out when you drink, in my opinion. There are lots of people who get drunk and don’t say things as horrible as Laurel did. Maybe she needs to do some inner searching to find out why those ugly things were even inside her head.
Well, this morning she’s released an apology, and in my opinion it’s nice and all, but what she did to poor Eric on national TV is so wrong. If I were Eric, I’d ignore her too.
Taylor Swift stunned everyone this week when she graced the cover of PEOPLE and told all about her relationships with Joe Jonas and Taylor Lautner. Now, what has everyone on the edge of their seats is how notorious kiss-and-teller John Mayer is going to respond to what Taylor is probably saying about him in her new song, ‘Dear John.’
“Don’t you think I was too young to be messed with,” Taylor asks in the song (talking about the 33-year-old John?). “Maybe it’s you and your sick need to give love and take it away.”
There have long been rumors that the two were romantically involved in 2009 while collaborating on ‘Half of My Heart,’ a track from his last album.
Everyone knows John “loves publicity and lives for this” type of situation, a giddy friend of John’s tells me. “She can bet that right now he is sitting in his apartment thinking of some witty way to respond. Writing a response to ‘Dear John’ called ‘Dear Taylor’ would be too obvious, so expect something much bigger than that.”
“Sure Taylor has a right to say whatever she wants but she needs to know she is playing with fire,” an insider tells me. Taylor writes, “Don’t you think nineteen’s too young to be played by your dark, twisted games when I loved you so?”
The singer builds anticipation for “Merry Christmas II You,” due Nov. 2, with first single “Oh Santa!,” which debuts at No. 1 on Billboard’s new Holiday Digital Songs chart (one position above her original version of “All I Want for Christmas Is You”). The follow-up album to 1994′s “Merry Christmas” includes a duet with Carey’s mother, Patricia.
