Kate recently opened up to ELLE UK about her new boyfriend, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, saying simply “He’s lovely.” She says that even though she’s been divorced, she hasn’t given up on marrying again. “It’s definitely not something I’m looking for. But the divorce [to Chris Robinson in 2007] doesn’t put me off. I’ll just see what happens. I think a lot of times people are terrified of love and stop themselves from experiencing it. I don’t ever want to get that jaded. I do believe in love. I believe that when you really open yourself up to love, it’s the most beautiful thing.”
Michael Douglas appeared on the David Letterman show last night, and they talked about Michael Douglas’ throat cancer.
He told David that he had just finished his first of eight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy, and was visibly thinner. In the coming weeks, he told Dave he could lose his voice, and inability to eat or swallow solid foods.
He said that despite his throat cancer being Stage 4, it has not spread beyond his throat. David asked what the chances of recovery are, and Douglas said he has an 80% chance of recovery (with some specialists more optimistic).
