Earlier this morning I reported that the Brown family, who stars on TLC’s Sister Wives, is under investigation by Utah police for committing felony bigamy.
Now, husband Kody Brown is speaking out. In a statement obtained by TMZ, the Brown’s say “We are disappointed in the announcement of an investigation, but when we decided to do this show, we knew there would be risks. But for the sake of our family, and most importantly, our kids, we felt it was a risk worth taking.”
The show features a 42-year-old Brown, and his four wives.
Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom celebrated their first anniversary yesterday but renewing their vows in an intimate ceremony at the Beverly Hills estate where they were married exactly one year ago.
I can only think of one word to describe my anniversary yesterday…magical! Lamar’s big surprise (well one of many surprises) was the renewal of our vows! How romantic is that?! Everything was planned perfectly and I could not have been more surprised. Malika blindfolded me and brought me to a “secret location”, I literally had NO idea where we were going. When we arrived, the car door opened and Lamar took my hand and led me to the spot where we were married one year ago. He removed the blindfold and I was just speechless — I was beyond in shock. I knew he had a few fun surprises up his sleeve but I never could have anticipated this. I have never been more obsessed with my husband.

Renewing their vows after only a year? Oh, to be rich.
Ok, well that’s not actually Britney Spears, it’s Brittany (played by Heather Morris) performing as Britney Spears. She’s a dead ringer for the singer!
John Stamos just Twittered this shot from the set of the show, showing him being straddled by Heather Morris in Brit’s famous nude “Toxic” bodysuit, along with the message “”not the real @britneyspears, but an incredible simulation.”
The pic is a sneak peek of tonight’s “Britney/Brittany” episode — where Stamos makes his debut and Ms. Spears herself will make a cameo..
“People that love this show or even like this show, they’re going to love this episode,” John Stamos said in an interview posted online. “I don’t feel like Britney stole my thunder … maybe a little. Well, it’s her show. [The episode is] called ‘Britney/Brittany.’ ”
So how does Stamos fit in in tonight’s episode? He’s the dentist that puts Brittany and Santana under anesthesia that prompts a drug-fueled trip through Britney Spears land. (Britney Spears will most likely make her cameo in one of these dream sequences.)
The cast will be performing Toxic, Stronger and Me Against the Music – among other songs.
