I was asked to take part in an Activia Challenge, and I was totally thrilled to try it! I had heard so much about this product, I was looking forward to trying it!
Being a mother of two who works full time, it’s hard for me to always make healthy food choices. Every time I make a poor choice with food, I end up regretting it for days. It just really messes with my system! I’m eager to try this for a couple weeks and report my overall experience! So far I feel great, and I’m loving the Challenge!
PS: If you don’t love Activia – you’ll get your money back! Why not try it!?
Taste wise, I was worried that it would taste funky, and I was happy to find that it was pretty good! It didn’t taste weird, and I love the flavors they offer. My favorite is strawberry. My Activia Challenge just started – I’ll keep posted on how it goes!
If you have a sensitive stomach, or problems with your digestive system, Activia can help! Activia® is a delicious, creamy yogurt that is shown in several clinical studies to help naturally regulate your digestive system*, which for many women means it can help with your occasional irregularity, or when you are feeling a bit sluggish.
Activia, with the unique probiotic culture called Bifidus Regularis® (Bifidobacterium lactis DN 173 010), works in your gut to help regulate your digestive system by helping with slow intestinal transit*. Activia is good for you, and it tastes good too! You can enjoy Activia every day, as a delicious snack, part of a nutritious breakfast or as a delicious end to your favorite meal.
Activia is shown in several clinical studies proven to help regulate your digestive system. But how does it do it, and why is its exclusive culture, Bifidus Regularis®, so important?
After you eat, food passes through the digestive tract and is gradually broken down into smaller parts, like sugars, fats and proteins. These nutrients are absorbed by your body and are part of what helps you lead an active and healthy lifestyle. Intestinal transit is defined as the time it takes for something to pass through the digestive system, which means the time it takes from when something enters your mouth to the time it leaves your body. Different people experience different transit times, and we all have our own kind of ‘normal’. But when your intestinal transit slows down, it can leave you feeling ‘heavy’ and uncomfortable.
This is where Activia, with Bifidus Regularis®, can help! Activia is shown in several clinical studies to survive passage through the digestive system and arrive in the gut in enough quantities to help have a positive impact on slow intestinal transit. When you eat it every day for two weeks, this is when you will start to feel the Activia difference!
WHAT IS A PROBIOTIC?
Meaning, literally, “for life,” a probiotic is a living microorganism that, when consumed in adequate amounts, confers a health benefit on its host. For a culture to be considered genuinely probiotic, it must be safe to eat, remain alive for the shelf life of the product and be present in a high enough quantity to provide benefits that go beyond basic nutrition. The billions of live, beneficial Bifidus Regularis® in each 4 oz serving of Activia meet all those requirements in order to help regulate your digestive system.

A new season of Dancing With The Stars is about to stars. Season 11′s cast includes comedian Margaret Cho, actress Jennifer Grey, actress Florence Henderson, singer Brandy Norwood, reality star Audrina Patridge, Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol Palin, singer Michael Bolton, former NBA basketball player Rick Fox, actor David Hasselhoff, actor Kyle Massey, reality star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, and recently retired NFL quarterback Kurt Warner.
But not everyone out there is excited to be put to the dancing test on TV. Here’s a list of celebrities that were reportedly asked to compete on DWTS but turned it down.
Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, actor Sylvester Stallone, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, actor Tim Allen, political commentator Ann Coulter, actress Suzanne Somers, Erin Brockovich, actress Kristie Alley, billionaire businessman Richard Branson, and actor Drew Carey.
Out of all those who reportedly turned down a spot on DWTS, who would you have liked to say yes? I think Kirsty Alley and Suzanne Somers would have been great on the show.

Since the release of ‘Breaking Dawn’ in August of 2008, many have wondered how on Earth they’re going to make that particular installment into an age-appropriate film. Though the Twilight saga has captured the hearts of millions of various ages, the books (and films) have garnered the biggest audience amongst tween-aged and teenage girls. While in the previous novels, where love scenes are modest, at worst, this poses an issue for the final film(s), with sex, birth, and more gruesome themes at play.
So how do they plan to address the more adult content of the book? According to a recent interview, screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and director Bill Condon (who will both be on hand for both installments of the film) plan to be faithful to the book.
Faithful does not necessarily translate to gory, however, with Rosenberg having said, “I don’t think it’s about the amount of blood you show. It’s on their faces. It’s all from Bella’s point of view when you’re seeing what’s going [on]. It should feel visceral. I think it’s going to be pretty intense.”
Hmm, should be interesting!
