On September 2nd, Jennifer Aniston shared a two-hour Italian dinner at Madeo with Cougar Town actor Josh Hopkins. I suppose they could have been talking about Jennifer’s highly-anticipated return to the small screen, when she appears opposite BFF Courteney Cox on the hit ABC show.

“She seemed very excited about her date,” says a eyewitness. “She and Josh sat at a more private table and they seemed to get along great.”

Aniston, who sipped white wine and ordered fish, shared animated conversations with Hopkins, 39. “It was obvious that they don’t know each other well, but there was a flirty energy between them and Jen looked very happy,” adds the witness. Reps for both haven’t commented on the relationship, but there’s no denying the smile on Aniston’s face these days.

“Jen has been in the best mood lately,” a source tells PEOPLE. “She is trying to do whatever makes her happy, which includes going on fun dates with interesting men.”

Drew Barrymore insists that despite her organizational skills behind a camera, her real life is a total disaster.

In a new interview, Drew says that she is disciplined as a director, but her real life is chaos. She said, “My real life is a disaster. You should see my hotel room right now. It looks like Sid Vicious is living there. It’s absolutely nuts. I need to call somebody to help because it’s started to look weird. I’m just a mess. My desk is a mess, I’m never organized, I lose everything.”

She says that she’s still in search of a new movie to direct, though. She added, “As a director, I’m really trying hard to find something I fall in love with again because it’s a really long, intense job that you work on every day for the next three years.”

Chelsea Handler has hinted around on her show that she has split with her boyfriend, Dave Salmoni, recently.

On September 1st, she said that she was working closely with Animal Planet, but the “contract was terminated”. Interesting choice of words…hmmm?

Dave is currently the star of Animal Planet, so she may be telling us that they’ve just split up. She said, “I have been working for the E! network for over three years now, and in addition to hosting this chucklefest of a show, I’ve given many suggestions on how to improve the quality of their entire network. As you can tell by the current lineup of shows, they have taken none of my suggestions. So I’ve decided to consult for other networks. Up until a couple weeks ago, I was working very intimately with the Animal Planet, but unfortunately, that contract was terminated. However, I enjoyed being in bed with them and may hook up for an occasional project.”

Think they’ve officially called it quits??

Laurence Fishburne’s porn star daughter Montana has ruled out any possibility of a reunion between the two of them until he accepts her career in the porn industry. Something tells me this isn’t going to end well.

When she broke into the adult film industry, the only thing her father could say was that she embarrassed him by using her last name. Later, he cut ties with her over the flick.

Now, she has confirmed that she has had no contact with her dad and won’t unless he can accept her decision to become an adult film star.

She said, “Until he respects me and accepts me for who I am, I don’t think we will have much of a relationship.”

According to a photographer, Lindsay Lohan struck a baby stroller with her Maserati after running a red light.

TMZ reports:

Paparazzo Brayan Jaime tells us he spotted Lindsay in her Maserati pulling out of her apartment building, then running a red light and making a left, right into the stroller.

Jaime says it was “full impact … It was a major hit.” Jaime tells us the bumper struck the nanny in the leg and hit the stroller “in the middle, knocking 3 of the 4 wheels in the air.”

I call BS. Lindsay is on probation and definitely doesn’t need this kind of press. Besides that, if it were as bad as he described, then why didn’t he call 911???
