Tom Brady unhurt after a car accident this morning!

New England Patriots player Tom Brady walked away unhurt this morning after a car accident in Boston early this morning. The passenger in the other car, however, was not so lucky. Jaws of life were required to extract the passenger in the other vehicle.

Tom and the van collided at 6:34 this morning, according to the Boston Globe. He did not require medical attention, and was able to walk away from the scene. No word on the condition of the person in the other car.

According to preliminary reports, it looks like Tom was not at fault, he had the green light. Brady was reportedly “shaken” after the accident.

Britney cries BS over former bodyguard’s lawsuit.

Yesterday it was reported that one of Britney Spears former bodyguards, Fernando Flores, was suing the popstar for sexual harassment and abusing her kids in his presence.  (Read that shocking article here).

Britney has responded this morning, calling BS on all counts. She posted this statement on her website:

This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself.  The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores’ accusations and have closed the case without any further action. Ms. Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that this matter will be dismissed by the courts.

Sponsored Post: Week 2 of My Activia Challenge!

I was recently asked to take part in an Activia Challenge, and I am totally excited that I tried it! I’m now in my second week of my Activia Challenge – and I have to admit the second week is going great! My first week, I tried the more breakfast flavors, the peach and the strawberry with a slice of toast…yum! This week I was dying to dry the dessert Activia’s – and they were even better! Strawberry Cheesecake and Peach Cobbler were my favorite two. They are delicious!

Being a mother of two who works full time, it’s hard for me to always make healthy food choices. Every time I make a poor choice with food, I end up regretting it for days. It just really messes with my system! I have been eating the Activia Dessert Yogurts in the evening, and it really helps me digest my dinner. I’m not having the occasional upset stomach I used to get. I’ve really enjoyed trying this product, and I honestly have felt a difference. Really!

PS: If you don’t love Activia – you’ll get your money back! Why not try it!?

If you have a sensitive stomach, or problems with your digestive system, Activia can help! Activia® is a delicious, creamy yogurt that is shown in several clinical studies to help naturally regulate your digestive system*, which for many women means it can help with your occasional irregularity, or when you are feeling a bit sluggish.

Activia, with the unique probiotic culture called Bifidus Regularis® (Bifidobacterium lactis DN 173 010), works in your gut to help regulate your digestive system by helping with slow intestinal transit*. Activia is good for you, and it tastes good too! You can enjoy Activia every day, as a delicious snack, part of a nutritious breakfast or as a delicious end to your favorite meal.

Activia is shown in several clinical studies proven to help regulate your digestive system. But how does it do it, and why is its exclusive culture, Bifidus Regularis®, so important?

After you eat, food passes through the digestive tract and is gradually broken down into smaller parts, like sugars, fats and proteins. These nutrients are absorbed by your body and are part of what helps you lead an active and healthy lifestyle. Intestinal transit is defined as the time it takes for something to pass through the digestive system, which means the time it takes from when something enters your mouth to the time it leaves your body. Different people experience different transit times, and we all have our own kind of ‘normal’. But when your intestinal transit slows down, it can leave you feeling ‘heavy’ and uncomfortable.

This is where Activia, with Bifidus Regularis®, can help! Activia is shown in several clinical studies to survive passage through the digestive system and arrive in the gut in enough quantities to help have a positive impact on slow intestinal transit. When you eat it every day for two weeks, this is when you will start to feel the Activia difference!

WHAT IS A PROBIOTIC?
Meaning, literally, “for life,” a probiotic is a living microorganism that, when consumed in adequate amounts, confers a health benefit on its host. For a culture to be considered genuinely probiotic, it must be safe to eat, remain alive for the shelf life of the product and be present in a high enough quantity to provide benefits that go beyond basic nutrition. The billions of live, beneficial Bifidus Regularis® in each 4 oz serving of Activia meet all those requirements in order to help regulate your digestive system.

Spencer Pratt to Heidi Montag: “I’ve failed spectacularly”

Spencer Pratt is definitely someone we love to hate. He’s the king of bad publicity, and gets some sort of sick pleasure from pissing people off. The person at the brunt of most of his antics is his soon-to-be ex-wife, Heidi Montag. At this point he realizes he’s been a major ass, and he’s sorry for it.

He sent an apology to Heidi via the Associated Press. Part of his letter is below.

Spencer Pratt on Wednesday issued a long apology to the woman he’s divorcing, Heidi Montag, saying he’s planning “intense soul-searching” and pursuing “appropriate avenues for my issues.”

“Divorce can be a trying, draining, and emotionally devastating experience for all involved,” Pratt, 27, tells PEOPLE. “Despite these hardships, most individuals manage to conduct themselves with dignity and maturity. I did not – I failed spectacularly.”

Addressing his actions toward Montag, 23, he says, “I horribly embarrassed the one person that meant the world to me. For my outrageous and infantile behavior, I offer Heidi my most sincere apologies.”

He didn’t specify what actions, but Pratt has been threatening to release a sex tape involving Montag, launched rants against her on Twitter and has been relentlessly pursuing her in Costa Rica.

“Over the years, her love, support, and friendship were always given, but never properly cherished. I let her down,” he says. “She never deserved the pain and anguish I put her through, and although I don’t expect it, I hope in time she’ll be able to forgive me.”

He adds, “Even though our relationship has changed, I will always count her among my best friends.”

Will Katie Holmes have more children? “Maybe in a couple years”

Katie Holmes opens up to Marie Claire about what it’s like to be Mrs. Cruise, on whether or not they’ll have more children, and what a day with Suri is like. Read the rest of the interview in the October 2010 issue, on newsstands September 14.

Katie Holmes explains why she wanted to star in her new movie, The Romantics:

“I just look for characters I can relate to. I loved this role because it felt like these are things that people go through. It has friendship, it has heartbreak, it has the past coming back into your life. I also liked the friendship between Lila and Laura because it’s tricky between women — you are either a friend to women or you are not.” Holmes continues, “That stuff for me is very real. I have three sisters, I went to an all-girls academy. I feel like I know girls and know how we fight, and Galt really nailed it. I just thought the movie felt very true.”

What’s it like being Mrs. Cruise?

“It’s really exciting. Tom’s as big at home as he is on the movie screen. He’s so passionate about everything, whatever he’s doing. When he’s being a dad, he’s right there; he’s giving it his all. It’s inspiring and it’s fun. It’s an amazing life, but we always remind ourselves of how incredibly lucky we are.” They visit each other on set when they can — Holmes is currently working in Toronto — and they do manage to have date nights, usually screening a current movie in their Beverly Hills home, followed by “probably a two-hour discussion about what we thought.”

On whether or not they’ll have more children:

“Maybe in a couple of years, but right now I want to make sure I’m really there for Suri. I’m the youngest in my family — my closest sister is five years older than me, and the next one is nine years ahead of me, so I was a bit of an only child, and I liked it! I liked having all of my mom’s attention, and sometimes I think I still do.”

On her daily schedule with daughter, Suri:

“We wake up, and we do the same thing. She does her chores. I think it’s very important. If she doesn’t get her chores done, I notice she’s not really herself. She has to make her bed, she has to take her dishes to the sink, she has to put her clothes in the laundry — you know, that basic stuff. I try to do what my mom did for me … just spending time with her, making doll clothes and planting in the garden … When Suri comes to the set, we have art projects, and I just try to keep her busy and inspired.”
