In an very candid interview appearing in the October issue of Details, Brian Austin Green dishes on playing a hunk on Desperate Housewives and making an honest woman out of Megan Fox…

Highlights from the interview:

On being a part of the original 90210:

“90210 only worked because of that time period – because the world didn’t have access to a lifestyle like that. The Internet wasn’t what it is now. With TMZ and Paris Hilton wrecking cars and people being chased on freeways, there’s nothing interesting about Beverly Hills. Beverly Hills is nothing anymore.”

On paparazzi:

“It wasn’t so much of a problem before Megan, but once Transformers hit, that was it. I had never experienced paparazzi on that level, because during 90210 they were still developing pictures and selling them by hand. It was a whole different experience.”

On his new role in Desperate Housewives, as a buff contractor:

“Sweaty guy with a hammer. A lot of tank tops. I’ve got to say it’s a whole new world for me. I’ve never played a hunky guy. There was one day when I had to take my shirt off. I must have done 400 push-ups. I feel like I understand the pressure that women go through. I feel, like, all-woman at times.”

On making Megan Fox a stepmom:

“She is absolutely my better half in parenting. She just gets it. It’s instinctual for her.”

On if their relationship was on-again/off-again:

“We’ve been together for six years. Find a picture of one of us with any other boyfriend or girlfriend‚ I challenge you. You’ll only find pictures of her doing press with Shia LaBeouf or me with my son. That’s it. We never once dated anyone else or did anything else.”

On Megan being more famous than him:

“I know the normal male thing is the man works and is successful and brings home the paycheck. I don’t know who the hell set it up, but it’s what people expect. I just don’t care. F**k, next year I could book some crazy movie that blows up and things could shift completely. And I guarantee you at that point she’ll say, F**k, thank God. You go do all that shit now. I’m sick of it.”

Heidi Montag takes advantage of the warm Central American waters by attempting to surf in Costa Rica. The former “The Hills” star was seen wearing a stunning tie-dyed bikini with a starfish ornament in the middle. Montag’s estranged husband Spencer Pratt was deported from Costa Rica at the weekend for felony possession of a firearm. He has been banned from ever visiting the country again.

Isla Fisher and husband Sacha Baron Cohen were spotted out and about in London over the weekend with their new baby! 2 1/2 year old sister Olive was in tow.

The very private couple haven’t announced when the baby was born, or the name/sex of the baby. According to a rep for Isla, they won’t be commenting about the birth of their second baby.

Kim’s half sisters Kylie and Kendall Kardashian Jenner (my bad)looked adorable on the red carpet last night at the premiere of Easy A. The girls, ages 13 and 14 have had more screen time on Keeping Up With the Kardashians this season. In the last episode of KUWTK, Kendall decided to teach her mom a lesson by pretending to smoke. It was revealed that Kris is a part-time smoker, and all the girls plotted to get their mom to quit. Kourtney came up with the genius idea to have Kris catch Kendall “smoking” in order to shock their mom into quitting the bad habit.

The cigarette Kourtney bought Kendall were Honeyrose Herbal Cigarettes, which contains no tobacco. But they DO contain marshmallows! Marshmallow cigarettes!? Yuck!

Of course the trick worked, seeing Kendall holding a cigarette freaked Kris out – and we’re led to believe Kris quit smoking. Who knows if it was just for TV, or if she really quit.

Is someone out to kill Jennifer Lopez’s chances with American Idol? According to a new report, FOX executives believe enemies of the show are creating a smear campaign to kill her deal before it’s done. There have been lots of stories spreading around the web about Jennifer Lopez, and her so-called “diva-demands”. So who’s planting these stories? FOX execs believe someone sinister is behind the rumors.

You know who I think is behind the so-called attacks? Anyone who purchased a movie ticket to see The Back-Up Plan. There’s a recession going on! We don’t have money to spend on sh*tty movies! I would say she has a few thousand enemies!

Sources tell TMZ that the negotiations with Lopez have been absolutely “normal”. The negotiations have been going on for over a month now. She’s expected to be announced as the new judge in the upcoming days.

Some of the stories reportedly planted include Lopez demanding more money, that she insisted a movie deal be included in the contract. Sources say that there is a movie deal included in her contract – but it’s not a key part of her deal.

Simon Cowell left the show, followed by Ellen Degeneres. Kara DioGuardi also left (whether she was fired, or left on her own – who knows). Sources say Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler will replace Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson will stay.
