Jersey friggin Shore! Only in America right? Can you imagine if they played this on local television around the world? This show sums up why the rest of the world hates us. You have some poor kid across the ocean who has to walk twenty miles to school just to set him up for the one in a million chance to get a good job, when we have Mike “The Situation” famous and rich because, well… his name is The Situation.

But we love them don’t we? Even if you say you don’t, you lie. They are impossible to ignore, I have not missed an episode yet, I’m even contemplating dressing up as Snookie for Halloween.

But I have to say I am kind of disappointed in my boys this year. The MVP’s (Mike, Vinny, Paulie D) are bringing in the trash. I think they like to call them “grenades”, but I am here to let you know these girls are officially bombs… dirty bombs. They have to be carrying diseases. I think the smoosh room needs one of those bug-bombs to get those leftovers off the sheets.

These poor girls mothers, can you imagine hearing them explain why the hooked up with one of these guys on national television? “Well mom, I was in this club in Miami, and this guy was wearing sunglasses inside, dripping with sweat because he was beating the beat up. He wouldn’t talk to me, he just kept flashing his abs at me from across the room. He was making out with other girls but I really dug his v-neck that went down to his belly-button. I knew he really had feelings for me when he kissed me and my best friend at the same time”.

Now we know why good girls like bad guys… because it gets them on TV. But please MTV, please let this train wreck unfold in front of us for seasons to come. Because you know, if you took all our responsibilities away and paid us to act like we were twenty-one again, we would all sign up to smoosh on TV. (Well, maybe not all of us)

Man, I dunno about this one. I love, love, love Johnny Depp. I think he’s genius, and I usually see any movie he’s in – no matter what. But I’m not sure I’m going to love this movie. Two things stand out when I watch the trailer above. First – Angelina’s terrible accent, and second – Johnny’s hair. What’s up with his hair? Is it a wig? Is it dyed? Next, Angelina’s accent! It’s horrific! Who thought she could pull off an accent? Is that French? Italian? What accent is that supposed to be!?

Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp star in The Tourist, a romantic thriller that centers around Jolie’s character, an Interpol agent, who uses a broken-hearted American tourist (Depp) in an attempt to flush out a criminal with whom she once had an affair.

I hope the movie is better than the trailer. 

PS: I ♥ Paul Bettany. He looks great!

With Homecoming approaching for high schoolers and the upcoming college formals, I thought it would be fun to do a look for those type of events.

So with that theme in mind, today we will recreate Taylor Swift’s great look that she wore to the premiere of ‘Easy A’ in Hollywood.

TV talk with Naomi:

I am back with recaps of last night’s episodes. I would like to start off by promising you all that I am not as boring as I made myself out to be in the last post. That was my first blog and I apologize for throwing out all of the facts that you already know. I would like this to be a medium that allows us to interact with the shows that we love (or hate) so much. Yesterday was the premiere of One Tree Hill, and I will not bore you with the details from the episode. Let’s get right to it, what the hell is going on?!

I’m going to light a candle, pour a glass of wine, and salute the finale of my favorite TV show – Big Brother - as the show wraps up it’s 12th season tonight. I’m getting choked up, give me a minute.

Okay, I’m back. I love me some Big Brother. I love it so much, in fact, that I watch Big Brother After Dark on Showtime, when the contestants are clipping their nails, or staring into space and nothing interesting is going on at all. I must be some sort of voyeur, there’s something very exciting about watching someone – real time – and listening in on their asinine conversations.

So tonight (sniff, sniff) is the season finale, of what has been an amazing season!!

I wasn’t sure the show would be any good at all after Rachel left the show (admit it, you loved to hate her). But the show got better! I loved watching Ragan, Britney, Lane and Enzo (Hayden rather bores me).

So out of the three that are left on the show, who do you think should take home the top prize? Below I’ll give my thoughts:

Hayden: I don’t want Hayden to win, only because he’s not my favorite. I suppose he did play a good game, he was a good competitor – and not afraid to make bold moves. He seemed like a smart player, so I could see why he could get the votes. But I don’t think he will, I doubt he’ll win the big dough.

Lane: Lane is my favorite, and I hope he wins. Why? Because I think he’s hilarious, and I think he played  a very smart game. He aligned himself with two alliances, and rode them both until the end. I think he sat back and let everyone else make the bold moves, removing him from the hot seat. I absolutely love every diary room visit, he cracks me up!! I hope he wins!!

Enzo: I don’t think Enzo should win, only because he wasn’t a very good player. Even though he was the one who came up with the alliance “The Brigade” that was about the extent of his strategic moves. He sucked at every competition! With this said, if he makes it to the final two, I think he’s most likely to win.
