Drew Barrymore is on the cover of October’s Harper’s Bazaar, and she looks absolutely amazing! She just returned from a two-week vacation in India (by herself!) toned, tanned, and happy as ever! She talks with HB about her body, being 35, and find out exactly what she has to say about boyfriend Justin Long.

On Drew’s new toned, tanned body:

“I feel like some of my baby fat is going away,” she observes, “and that’s not just physically, it’s psychologically. I think that your body is in tune with your mind and your spirituality and your heart. If things are going better, I just think you look better.”

Drew’s “two or three hours of exercise” a week is paying off. “But,” she cautions, “there is some lighting where I absolutely resemble Shamu. People have to know that you pick the best pictures where the lighting is beautiful and the angles are right and the body positions are gorgeous. And then, guess what, you turn, sit, hit the wrong light, and your belly flaps over and we all look human again.”

“I can apply myself at my job 20 hours a day, seven days a week. But I can’t apply myself to my body more than a couple hours a week. I have no passion for fanaticism. The psychology when you just forgive yourself and enjoy what nature gave you is so liberating.”

On spending more time being alone, and loving it:

“I’m really good on my own,” she says. “I was good in my early teens, and then I got really bad at being alone for like 10 years. And then for the last decade I’ve developed such a love of my independence that I have to go, Okay, you’ve had dinner by yourself three nights in a row, now you have to see your friends.” Howard Hughes rising? “Oh, yes. I’ll be peeing in jars momentarily.”

In another life, she could have been a motivational speaker:

“Oh, I would love to be a motivational speaker,” she says. “I have pulled myself out of a million potholes, and I can see the potholes ahead of me. That doesn’t mean that I could always do that so perfectly for my own life. I totally fall in potholes. Sometimes I fall so goddamn deep, I’ve got broken legs and I have to mend myself in the well and crawl back out.” That would be especially tough if it was a hole full of pot. She chuckles and says, “Well, I like those holes.”

On being 35 years old:

“For me, it’s very magical,” she says. “It’s funny, because whenever they parody me on Saturday Night Live, they always say the word magical. But 35 is an incredible year for me. It’s just a very auspicious time.”

On boyfriend Justin Long:

“He’s the cat’s pajamas,” she replies. “I couldn’t love, respect, admire, and enjoy that individual more than I do. It would be physically impossible for me to have any more giggly joy at this person.”

Okay, I’ll just tell you – it’s jeans. But I was leaning towards undies – good one, Armani!

I’ll just throw it out there that I caught part of Megan Fox in Jennifer’s Body last night. I was laying in bed, looking for something to watch before I fell asleep. I turned to Showtime to watch Big Brother After Dark, but they were already asleep! It was incredibly boring, so I switched over to HBO, where they were showing Jennifer’s Body. I had never seen it before, so I thought I’d check it out. I watched about 10 minutes, and thought it was so terrible, I couldn’t stand another minute! Megan Fox really, truly is a terrible actress! She should stick to commercials where she’s half naked, because acting is definitely not her cup of tea.

Which brings me to another funny story (considering you thought that last one was funny). I was reading on DListed earlier, and he has this story about Josh Brolin comparing Megan Fox to Katharine Hepburn. Can you believe that!? Does Josh live on this planet? (Maybe he just watched the commercial above – and he’s spellbound).

Josh told Playboy:

“What Megan has done is confuse everybody thoroughly. To me, she’s doing something more interesting than what a lot of other young people in movies are doing. Katharine Hepburn, one of the most appreciated actresses today, was hated back in her heyday. She was box office poison…They didn’t understand her. Yet now we all look back and go, ‘OK, she was incredible.’ I would love to be the person who puts Megan in a film in which she can actually do something interesting.”

Maybe a female version of I Am Sam? I’d pay to see that!

After the tragic loss of his wife, Natasha Richardson, a year and a half ago, Liam Neeson is dating again. He has quietly been stepping out with British businesswoman Freya St. Johnston, 36. She is the first woman that Neeson has been spotted with since the sudden death of his wife in 2009.

Earlier this month the couple was spotted leaving London’s Nobu Restaurant holding hands.

The couple reportedly met through mutual Hollywood friends. Johnston has two children, from a previous marriage.

“She’s a wonderful person and a fantastic mother,” Johnston’s ex-husband, Matt Winton, a marketing exec for the U.K.-based street wear brand Boxfresh, tells PEOPLE. “She takes life seriously in a free-spirited kind of way.”

Adds Winton, “They make a very nice couple.”

Hopefully he’s happy! Good for him!

Nice! The lovely Liv Tyler hit the red carpet last night for the G-Star RAW Spring/Summer 2011 Fashion Show as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. I’m not a huge fan of her outfit, but I love her – so I’ll get over it!

I miss seeing Liv onscreen! Last movie we saw her in was 2008′s The Incredible Hulk. What’s next? Her new film, Super just premiered at the Toronto Film Festival.

Super follows Frank D’arbo (Rainn Wilson), an unhappy and religious cook who just had his strikingly beautiful wife (Liv Tyler) leave him for a big-time drug dealer (cunningly played by Kevin Bacon). After a late night session of watching Hentai porn (a scene that will remind a few of Oliver Assayas’ Demonlover), Frank has a fevered dream of being touched by the hand of God and is then convinced his purpose in life is to become Crimson Bolt, a real-life superhero who will relentlessly and selflessly hunt down evil and punish the sinners with the power of his trusty wrench. Crimson Bolt does not discriminate either as he hunts down child molesters to line-butters, and with the help of his mischievous and psychotic sidekick “Boltie” (Ellen Page), both costumed vigilantes embark on a mission to rescue Frank’s wife from the drug dealer and his heavily-armed goons.

Sounds interesting? Maybe?
