There has been so much hype about Jennifer Aniston’s return to TV. For months, everyone’s been talking about her return to primetime TV. But when it came right down to it, her appearance didn’t do much for ratings. Last year Cougar Town debuted to an audience of 11.4 million. Last night’s premiere brought in 8.3 million viewers, down quite a bit from last year. (And third in it’s time slot)
Modern Family brought in 12.6 million viewers, which was came in at #1 for it’s time slot.
Jennifer Aniston has hit a bit of a rough patch. Her latest film “The Switch” was a huge flop, bringing in only $8.1 million the weekend it opened.

Janet Jackson’s relationship with her new billionaire boyfriend, Wissam Al Mana, seems to be heating up.
According to Page Six, they were spotted having dinner together at Rabbit Moon in NYC. “Janet was glowing. They had a corner table and were very cuddly. They seemed very much in love,” a spy said. “Wissam picked up the check, and when asked if they’d be back next week, they said they were flying to Paris for Fashion Week.”
Janet split from Jermaine Dupri, her boyfriend of seven years last year. She met the Qatari businessman when she performed at an event in the middle east last December.
The 35 year old billionaire (he’s 10 years her junior!) whisked Janet away for a romantic break in Sardinia this summer. Friends of Janet’s credit him with helping her cope with the death of her brother, Michael Jackson.
Wissam is director of Al Mana Retail, a shareholder in Saks Fifth Avenue stores in Dubai, Doha, Bahrain and Kuwait.
Rihanna and her red-hot hair showed up last night at Hollywood hotspot Drai’s for her boyfriend Matt Kemp’s birthday party.
Rihanna also rocked the red hair on the nearly nude cover of her latest single “Only Girl in the World.”
Rihanna’s “Only Girl (In the World)” has jumped from #75 to #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Love The Way You Lie” by Eminem feat. Rihanna remains at no. 2. “Only Girl” is Rihanna’s 16th top 10 hit in the United States!
In other Rihanna news, she recently recorded a Christmas song that will be part of a compilation holiday album. The singer’s “A Child is Born” rendition will be a part of Now That’s What I Call Christmas! compilation series.

Tom Cruise and wife actress Katie Holmes headed out for an Italian meal in Prague, Czech Republic with their four-year-old daughter Suri. Katie and Suri have joined Tom in Prague as he scouts locations for Mission Impossible 4. Tom is not only acting in the movie, he’s also writing and producing the film.
Tom filmed the first Mission Impossible in Prague back in 1995. Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Simon Pegg are rumoured to star opposite Tom in the fourth installment, due for release in December 2011.
Other filming locations that have already been confirmed include British Colombia and Dubai.
