Hope this movie doesn’t suck…
Kristen Stewart’s new role in movie On The Road is a bit racier than what you’re used to seeing from the Twilight actress.
Her character is a 16-year-old girl named Marylou, who has a threesome with a couple of women, asks to watch two people having sex and brags about performing oral sex.
Why the shocking change of pace? “Many actors who are entering adulthood want to make their own mark and stop being seen as bubblegum, cookiecutter teen stars,” Ryan Schinman, media expert and CEO of the talent-branding agency Platinum Rye Entertainment, tells Life & Style. “Kristen likely wants to be taken more seriously as an actress — and show she’s not afraid to break out of the mold.”
Wow. That is a huge departure from her vampire role. Will you go see On The Road?

Jesus take the wheel.
Pop singer Lady Gaga says that drugs are behind the inspiration for her music. I love this broad’s music more than a fat kid loves cake, but when is she going to stop with these crazy quotes?
She said, “[Using drugs] I really figured out the art I wanted to make and was inspired. Some people find inspiration in dark places. I guess I’m one of them. What always made me different is that if I was doing drugs I was also making music. I wasn’t just doing drugs.”
Her mother didn’t get why she wanted to do drugs and was admittedly confused by her early performances. She said, “At the beginning I was doing performance art in handmade leather and leopard bikinis talking about oral sex and Andy Warhol and heavy metal. My mom was like, ‘You’ve lost your mind.’ I was doing drugs, I was really out of control. But I never got so far into it that I overdosed or anything.”

If you thought Michael Lohan was bad with the way that he uses his daughter for publicity, then this should not surprise you in the slightest.
Apparently Mike wants to open his own rehab facility. Crazy, right?
“Yes, it’s, true, I’ll be running it,” Michael told Radar Online. “I think it’s time that Dina [Lohan] and I both step out of the media for a while, and for me that means getting back to what I know best — helping people with addiction.”
But Michael is getting backed on the center by “a really well known person,” but he can’t say who.
“But I have my entire team of therapists in place and the financing is done,” he explained. “We’re still negotiating the location.”
And Michael plans to run a very strict center.
“I’m going to have a protocol that will be have to be followed. I don’t believe in prescription drugs,” Michael said. “If people come in on them they’re going to have to get off of them, otherwise they’ll be looking for another rehab.”
“I believe spirituality and holistic methods can cure anything,” he added. “God will be a major element in recovery.”
Anything for the almighty dollar, right?

Jenny Craig spokesperson Sara Rue says that after dropping about 50 pounds, she’s finally done with her weight loss quest.
“I’m done losing weight,” she tells People. “I feel great, and I love looking like a woman. I love being curvy and having boobs and hips. It’s hot. I don’t ever want to be size zero.” Rue, who is now on Jenny Craig’s maintenance program, says she still has to work at keeping off the weight. “I do my workouts five times a week,” she says. “I work out with my trainer one or two times a week, and we run together. As long as I do cardio for 45 minutes to an hour each day I work out, I feel like I’m okay.” And while Rue keeps to a strict diet and exercise regimen, she admits that she always allows herself room for treats. “On the Jenny Craig plan, you can have a glass of wine,” she says. “So, yeah, I drink wine, I drink champagne.” But the best treat of all for Rue was landing the stamp of approval from her best friend’s boyfriend. “I hadn’t seen him in months, and he was like, ‘Holy s—t!’ really loudly and he kept staring at me,” she says. “I think he had the best reaction.”
That’s an amazing weight loss! Good for her!

Levi Johnston doesn’t regret posing for Playgirl – or even turning Bristol Palin into a teen mom. But what he does regret? It’s his apology to Sarah Palin!
“I don’t really regret anything,” Johnston, 20, says in a CBS Early Show interview broadcast Friday morning. “But the only thing I wish I wouldn’t have done is to put out that apology [to Palin and the Palin family].”
“‘Cause it kind of makes me sound like a liar. And I’ve never lied about anything. So that’s probably the only thing. The rest of the stuff I can live with.”
So why did he apologize to Sarah in the first place? “That was something I did to make my fiancée happy,” he said. (Johnston and the former Vice Presidential candidate famously traded insults via the press following his early 2009 breakup with Brisol.)
So, he’s basically saying that he lied about lying? That doesn’t make any sense. What do you believe?

Not the type of movie I typically review, for sure. But I took my youngest son to see Nanny McPhee Returns last night, and I loved it so much I thought I’d share it with you!
I loved the first movie. Nanny McPhee was released in 2005, and Emma Thompson played the lead character, a strange and wonderful nanny of sorts. She wrote the movie herself, and the end result was pure magic.
Five years later Nanny McPhee Returns, and this time with an equally cute cast and storyline. The sequel finds us in the middle of World War II, on some farm miles from London. On this farm is Isabel Green, played by an adorable Maggie Gyllenhaal, and her three children, Norman, Megsie and Vincent. Her husband – who turns out to be EWAN MCGREGOR!! – is off at war, leaving Isabel to care for the children herself.
When her nephew and niece show up for a visit, Isabel finds herself utterly overwhelmed as the children can’t seem to get a long. In walks Nanny McPhee to save the day! Once she arrives all the magic begins, and it’s absolutely a joy to watch. It’s cute and charming.
Emma Thompson actually doesn’t even have much screen time. The children steal the show. Every one of the actors gave very strong performances for being so young! Did I mention that Rhys Ifans plays Isabel’s scandalous brother Mr. Green? And the brilliant Ralph Fiennes also makes an appearance as Mrs. Green’s brother in law!
I’m guessing Nanny McPhee won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. It’s cheesy and over-the-top and obviously very unrealistic. But it’s also totally cute and a great family movie!
Go see it!
