The overturning of Proposition 8, California’s same-sex marriage ban is in full effect! Dozens of excited celebs took to their Twitter accounts to tweet about their feelings on this matter. They were very excited!!

“YEAHHHHH!!!!! #PROP8UNCONSTITUTIONAL MOVING FORWARD!!!!!!!!” Ricky Martin, who announced he was gay in March, Tweeted on Wednesday following the announcement that Chief U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker ruled that Proposition 8 violated civil rights.

“This just in: Equality won!” Ellen DeGeneres wrote on her Twitter account.

“Prop 8 was struck down! This news is amazing!!!! Its about time! Congrats to everyone!,” reality star Kim Kardashian told her Twitter followers.

Adam Lambert celebrated the court’s decision, Tweeting, “We’re gonna throw glitter on this barn tonight!!!”

Lance Bass, who is currently out of the country, Tweeted from abroad, writing, “Congrats on the overturning of Prop 8!!!!”

Kristin Chenoweth Tweeted, “Prop 8 overturned in California! Praise God!”

“So You Think You Can Dance” judge/choreographer Adam Shankman wrote, “And justice is served. We are equal once more. God bless the letter of the law.”

Sandra Bernhard called for even more equality, Tweeting, “if we can’t have the same tax breaks, insurance coverage etc, then we are not paying for your wars, get it together right now.”

Journalist Lisa Ling Tweeted, “Happy for my gay friends today. Love reigns.”

Comedian Kathy Griffin released a statement to Access. As many know, Kathy is big supporter of gay rights and has a huge gay following.

“I am, of course, thrilled and heartened by Judge Walker’s ruling… As we all know, the anti-gay movement is certain to appeal this landmark case to the 9th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in San Francisco and, ultimately, to the United States Supreme Court in Washington. So, while today’s decision is a key victory in the fight for marriage equality, we still have a long way to go before my mother Maggie can break out her box of wine in celebration. I urge my friends and fans to stay strong, be vocal and take strength in the knowledge that we will be on the right side of history.”

California voters banned gay marriage by passing Prop. 8 on November 2008. This was only five months after the California State Supreme Court had legalized it.

The current ruling will probably be appealed and may eventually end up at the U.S. Supreme Court.

Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels claims she was teased in her early years. She was overweight and had a big nose. The constant scrutiny led her to go under the knife.

“In eighth grade, I weighed 175 pounds and my nose was the size of a softball,” Michaels, 36, tells the new issue of Parade’s Healthy Style. “Once, I was sitting at lunch and got surrounded by a bunch of kids who let me have it about how ugly I was -— my unibrow, the size of my nose, the fat rolling over my jeans. It was pure hell. My mom had to pull me out and put me in another school.”

“I had my nose done,” she admits. “I felt much better about myself. Plastic surgery is a very personal decision.”

“I was a very anxious kid. I had night terrors. I couldn’t breathe,” she says. “I had a very strained relationship with my father, especially when my parents got divorced. I still try to go to therapy at least twice a week. It has given me the confidence to pursue the things I love, and it’s important that I don’t end up playing out my own pain and insecurities with the people I’m trying to help.”

“I’m hoping I’ll have the motherhood thing figured out within five years. I was an only child for a long time, and it was lonely, so I would like to have at least two kids,” Michaels says. “As long as children have love, that’s all that matters, but in an ideal scenario I’d want them to have a father.”

Sounds like Jillian has overcome a lot. I would have never guessed she had a nose job. It looks perfect.

She has helped many people on Biggest Loser, and she is continuing to make a difference in other people’s lives on her new show Losing It With Jillian, which premiered in June.

Wyclef Jean is planning to run for President on Haiti for the islands Nov. 28 election. According to Rolling Stones, Wyclef is going to make the official announcement on Thursday’s Larry King Live.

Wyclef was born in Haiti but left the country at age 9 with his family. In 2007, he was named ambassador at large by Haitian President Rene Preval.

“I knew I’d have to take the next step,” Jean, 37, tells Time. “If not for the earthquake, I probably would have waited another 10 years before doing this.”

“If I can’t take five years out to serve my country as President,” Jean argues to Time, “then everything I’ve been singing about, like equal rights, doesn’t mean anything.”

The star is part of Haiti’s reformist party, Ensemble Nous Faut (We Must Do It Together), and admits to Time that, “it’s a hard thing for people to take artists seriously.”

Still, he argues, “I’m the only man who can stand in the middle and get the diaspora and Haiti’s elite families to cooperate that same way.”

“A lot of Haitians are excited about this,” Marvel Dandin, a Port-au-Prince radio broadcaster, told Time. “Given the awful situation in Haiti right now, most people don’t care if the President speaks fluent Creole.

Wyclef will be running against his uncle, Raymond Joseph. Currently Raymond is Haiti’s U.S. ambassador.

Amy Winehouse is out on a date with her boyfriend Reg Traviss. Together they attend the launch of the new African restaurant Shaka Zulu in Camden Market.

Former Jake Pavelka address rumors on whether he is gay on The View when the topic of him Vienna not being intimate for months came up.

“There was a lack of intimacy because our problems were so heavy,” Pavelka, 32, explained. “I can’t separate love and intimacy — and apparently that makes me gay.”

But, when asked point blank whether he is gay, he said, “no, no,” adding, “one of my best friends is gay. I can’t see how someone can look at [Vienna] and find her not attractive.”

The pilot said that he and Girardi “have not spoken” since their fiery TV reunion taped on June 24. He also defended his angry behavior during that interview. “What people don’t understand is, that was 24 hours after my [publicist] called me on the set of Drop Dead Diva saying the relationship was over. [Vienna] didn’t call me, it was a publicist,” he charged.

“24 hours later, I’m sitting there and I wasn’t ready,” he said of the joint interview with Girardi, which aired during a July 5 episode of The Bachelorette. “You know when you’re kids and you’re trying to protect yourself? It was like that.”

The heartbroken star said, “When I got down on one knee, I meant it. I still believe that you can find love on that show.”

Jake was also very supportive of the latest Bachelorette, Ali Fedotowsky. Jake says, “I knew she would make a beautiful Bachelorette,” he said. “I’ll always have a special place in my heart for her.”

Ali also supports Jake when he says he’s not gay saying on Lopez Tongiht, “Just because he wears really nice turtleneck sweaters does not mean he’s gay!”
