Here is the highly anticipated music video for Eminem’s new song Love the Way You Lie, featuring Rihanna. The music video stars Megan Fox (who reportedly donated her fee for the video to a Sojourn House, a shelter for abused women).

Tackling a subject she knows all too well, Rihanna takes on domestic violence by being featured in an Eminem video starring Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan as a couple stuck in a cycle of fighting, drinking, shoplifting and pyromania.

In the video, Rihanna, 22, sings outside a house that bursts into flames while a couple – Fox and Monaghan – alternately physically abuse and kiss each other. In a field of yellow grass, meanwhile, Eminem raps in his signature undershirt (yes, a “wifebeater”).

As the song progresses, the couple go to a bar, play manipulative emotional games, beat the tar out of a rival for Fox’s affections, steal booze, and then take the boxing match back to their home, which is one of several things that spontaneously combust, presumably a metaphor for the emotional trauma the characters are suffering.

“[Director] Joseph [Kahn] and I worked pretty closely together to make sure we got this right,” said Eminem, 37. “Trying to make this tough subject work visually is a challenge. It was great to have Rihanna, Megan and Dominic on board for this. They really brought it and made this video super-powerful.”

Singer/actress Hilary Duff is ready to begin her life as a married woman – she’s splashed out $3.85 million on a new Hollywood home ahead of her wedding to ice hockey star Mike Comrie later this month.

The 22 year old will reportedly exchange vows with the sportsman on August 14th, six months after becoming engaged. And the stars already have a marital home to call their own, according to In Touch magazine.

Duff allegedly snapped up the Georgian-style mansion after falling in love with the sprawling gardens surrounding the property. It also features spacious master suites and big walk-in his-and-hers closets, as well as a swimming pool.

And Duff will be in good company – the house is located in the same gated community as Gwen Stefani and Britney Spears’ homes. The couple has been dating since 2007.

Anyone watching the trailers to ‘Eat Pray Love’ can see how fantastic Julia Roberts looks. How does she do it? She told David Letterman that it’s simple: what keeps her looking amazingly young and beautiful are her three kids and “the love of a good man.”

So why is Alan Kalter, the announcer on ‘Late Show,’ making it sound like the actress suffers from varicose veins?

“Can I just log a tiny complaint?” asked Robert. “I’m in the dressing room watching, and in the intro [Kalter says], ‘And Tonight — Julia Roberts!’ … and then they say, ‘A problem with varicose veins?’”

Kalter had followed up the question with a punchline, but Roberts wasn’t ecstatic over the awkward introduction. Letterman shifted the blame and had a theory on why the producers did that. Roberts took it in stride and had a quick-witted comeback.

Jude Law is getting a little down time before he begins shooting Sherlock Holmes 2 in October! It was announced this week that Daniel Day Lewis (LOVE HIM!) has signed on to play Holmes’ nemesis Professor Moriarty.

Day-Lewis, who won a best actor Oscar for his work in “There Will Be Blood,” will join Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law who respectively reprise their roles as Holmes and Watson in the feature.

At one point, Ritchie considered casting his former “Snatch” thespian Brad Pitt in the part, but his budget couldn’t stretch that far.

U.K.’s The Sun had the scoop.

“Sherlock Holmes,” which was released in December, has minted $517 million at the worldwide box office.
