Britney Spears, 28, continues her bikini-clad vacation with her boyfriend Jason Trawick in Maui.

Although things are going well with former manager Trawick — they’ve been dating for over a year — Spears recently used her Twitter to slam a tabloid report that they’re planning to get hitched in a “double wedding” with Spears’ little sister Jamie-Lynn.

Spears recently confirmed she’s back in the recording studio making the follow-up to her 2008 smash Circus; she also recently filmed her talked-about appearance on Glee.

“Britney was very professional and very much the sweet Southern belle,” a set source says in the new Us Weekly. “Her attitude was, ‘I’m here to work, let’s do this!’”

Jesse Tyler Ferguson is kissing and telling.

E! is reporting that Modern Family’s gay kiss episode has been filmed!

“Yes, we filmed the kiss episode,” Ferguson told E! at the  BAFTA/LA’s pre-Emmy Tea Party. “It’s a very organic kiss. People are going to be very surprised when they see it.”

Ferguson also said it didn’t take too many takes for him and Eric Stonestreet to get it just right. “I had a lot of coffee before,” he said. “Looking back on this, I probably should have done that all differently. Giving Eric his first gay kiss is something to be proud of.

“I’m sure I was his first kiss,” he added. “I’ll be shocked and actually offended if I wasn’t.”

Sunday marked the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, and the destruction it left behind in Louisiana.

Sandra Bullock donated money to rebuild Warren Easton Charter High School, and to open a student health clinic. She appeared at an event to tribute to those who are helping with recovery efforts.

Bullock is a part-time New Orleans resident. “I have seen nothing but unimaginable kindness, perseverance and hope right in this room here,” said Bullock. “It gives me great pleasure to be in the company of these people who have actually made the difference. They did the hard work, they are here sitting before you.”

“These young adults have seen the very worst, and they are committed to the very best,” said Bullock. ” They are our future leaders. I would like to thank the students who step up to the plate and do the hardest work. I didn’t do it in high school, and it makes me so incredibly proud.”

Looking as cute as can be, Bullock helped cut the tape on the new school.

“It was more than her money,” says Easton Foundation board member Arthur Hardy. “She is like our spiritual leader. She is our angel.”

“What do you say about a human being who just pours out their heart and soul, who puts their money where their mouth is, walks the walk, talks the talk,” adds Mayor Mitch Landrieu. “And even if it was just in a movie, she married a New Orleans boy.”

This seems like really bizarre casting. John Cusack as Edgar Allen Poe? I just don’t see it!

John Cusack has confirmed he is set to play Edgar Allan Poe in a new murder mystery.

The actor will star as the horror writer in director James McTeigue’s forthcoming “The Raven,” a fictionalized account of Poe’s mysterious last days chasing a serial killer.

In a post on Twitter, Cusack announces: “Official I will play Edgar Allen Poe in fall. A film called The Raven, send any Poe gold my way as I begin this journey into the abyss.”

Ewan McGregor and Jeremy Renner were previously in talks for the project but their parts were not specified. It is unclear if either actor is still involved.

The period thriller is due to begin filming in autumn and is set to hit theatres next year.
