Kelsey Grammer was spotted holding hands with his new girlfriend, Kayte Walsh in NYC earlier this week, and rumors swirled that the British woman was pregnant. According to the Daily Mail, Kayte’s father has confirmed that she is indeed pregnant!

Ex-Bristol City player Alan Walsh said his daughter, 29, “hit it off” with the ‘Frasier’ star and is happy about her pregnancy. “It’s great news and we are very pleased for them both,” he gushed. “I don’t know how long they have been together and I have not met him yet, but I’m looking forward to it. We just found out about her pregnancy a couple of days ago. I think they met in New York socially because she works for Virgin Airways and often stops over in America. The main thing is for them both to be happy and they are – they have just hit it off together.”

Sources told the NY Post that Grammer is reportedly “pushing for a quickie divorce” because things with Walsh are moving along so quickly. “There is speculation that she is pregnant, but he wants to finalize the divorce before making any announcement,” the source added.

When E! makes Kardashian aware of an article featuring a number of her twit pics, and asks why she frequently posts photos of herself in bikinis, Kardashian says: “Well I think that Twitter is such an amazing tool to be able to communicate with my fans and to connect with people. And why not put up a little sexy twit pic? And there’s so many bad pictures out there. You know, the paparazzi gets… Why not put out a good one?”

Fantasia Barrino has been released from a Charlotte, N.C. hospital, People is reporting, after being admitted on Monday for an overdose of aspirin and a sleeping aid. “She has been lifted up by the outpouring of love and support from her fans,” said Dickens. The incident came one day after Barrino issued a statement denying she was responsible for breaking up a marriage of a North Carolina couple. On Tuesday, Barrino’s manager issued a further statement admitting Barrino dated the man in question “off an on for 11 months,” but had believed he was separated from his wife at the time.

Barrino’s new album, Back to Me, is due for release Aug. 24.

What’s the biggest misperception of you?

“That I am this brooding, twisted, lovesick person who just can’t get it right in life. Every story about me is so heavy and dramatic. That’s not how I do life. Halle Berry works out so much because she has diabetes:

Rihanna was spotted leaving tattoo parlor Eastside Ink in New York, where she got some new ink on her neck. The tattoo reads “rebelle fleur,” which translates to rebel/rebellious flower. She got the tattoo during a late night date in New York with beau Matt Kemp. The couple were spotted hugging and kissing as they looked through a book of designs. The 22-year-old singer is said to have at least 15 tattoos.

Back in January, the ‘Hard’ singer revealed on the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ that she had “approximately 13″ tattoos, one of which reads, “Never a failure always a lesson.”

“It’s basically saying that it’s OK to make a mistake, just don’t make them twice,” said Rihanna, who split from Chris Brown early last year after he assaulted her.

Authorities want to know what Violet Kowal knows.

The Polish-born model, who claims to have had an affair with Mel Gibson that ended in January, was contacted about two weeks ago by Los Angeles County law-enforcement officials in connection with an ongoing investigation concerning Gibson, a source exclusively tells E! News.

“She hasn’t done a formal interview yet, but they have contacted her,” the source says.

The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that it is investigating both Oksana Grigorieva’s domestic violence allegation against Gibson and his claim that she tried to extort roughly $10 million from him in exchange for not releasing the recordings she made of him ranting over the phone.

No arrests have been made or charges filed in either matter.

The domestic violence probe is expected to be completed and turned over to the District Attorney’s Office within the next two weeks, Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said Monday.

E!’s source did not say which investigation might involve Kowal, whose rep did not return a request for comment.

In a recent interview with E! News, she says that, during the course of their approximately 6-month relationship, Gibson never talked about Grigorieva, nor did she meet her.

Gibson, meanwhile, denied having an affair with the adult-website operator when the National Enquirer linked the two together in May.
