The doctor who famously gave Heidi Montag 1o plastic surgeries in one day died in a car accident yesterday afternoon. Dr. Frank Ryan, 50, is a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon who has worked on celebs like Vince Neil, Adrianne Curry and Shauna Sand. He was killed yesterday when his Jeep went off the side of the Pacific Coast Highway and crashed into some rocks.

“Lifeguards initially tried to help Ryan, to no avail,” TMZ writes. Ryan was trapped in the vehicle with major head injuries; he died at the scene.

Before the accident, Ryan had been hiking near Malibu with his Border Collie, Jill, and shared a photo on Twitter.

Ryan wrote the following message on Twitter hours before his death:

After probably the worst weeks of her life, Fantasia Barrino is ready to resume promoting her new album, Back To Me, which will be out on Aug. 24, says her record label.

Last week Fantasia was hospitalized for a suicide attempt on August 9th. Rumor has it, a sex tape involving Fantasia and a married man had surfaced, prompting the scorned wife to file for divorce.

But she’s ready to move on – and good for her!

“I can’t thank my fans enough for their prayers and support during such a challenging time. It has given me the motivation to get back to work,” says Fantasia in a release from Sony Music. “I put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this album and I pray that everyone enjoys it as much as I do.”

According to Sony, fans will have the opportunity to listen to the album when it premieres on Facebook and Amazon tomorrow.

The trailer for ‘I’m Still Here’ has arrived. Starring Joaquin Phoenix as an aspiring rapper named Joaquin Phoenix, the documentary (?) has been in the works for over a year, ever since the ‘Walk the Line’ actor emerged into the spotlight with a gnarly beard and equally unruly hair to make bizarre public appearances, including a now-infamous sit-down with David Letterman.

All the while, Phoenix was tailed by his camera-toting bro-in-law, Casey Affleck, who directed. The trailer itself doesn’t really say much about the film, except that there will be plenty of screen time for the beard, in addition to scenes involving a frustrated Phoenix riding on planes, hugging P. Diddy and looking down in the dumps.

So could this mean that the split is real!? I think the split probably started as a publicity stunt, but in the end – it looks like it may be for real after all. TMZ is reporting that Spencer Pratt has been served with divorce papers by soon-to-be-ex-wife Heidi Montag!

Heidi Montag took the next big step to end her marriage to Spencer by authorizing service of divorce papers. We’re told Spencer received and signed the papers last week, which means the divorce can become final exactly six months from the time Spencer got the docs.

Heidi’s lawyer, Jodeane Farrell, tells TMZ … “Both Heidi and Spencer are in agreement to settle their divorce as quickly as possible without the need of a court appearance.”

Maybe Spencer stepping out on Heidi was the straw that broke the camels back? She recently took to her Twitter to lash out at him (even though she never said his name, we all know who she’s talking about)
