Scott Caan, the 33-year-old star of a new ‘Hawaii Five-0′ TV remake, was hospitalized with a “serious knee injury,” say sources at the New York Post.

Caan apparently harmed himself filming a stunt for the action series on location in Hawaii. He was flown to LA to undergo immediate surgery on what’s rumored to have been a torn ACL.

The filming schedule has been adjusted to accommodate Caan. “His injury will be noted in the story line,” a spokesperson for CBS told the Post. “Partnering with someone like Steve McGarett, you’re bound to get a few bumps and bruises.”

Caan may return to the set as early as this week. The star recently told TV Guide he’s never seen the original 1960s series his show is based on. “I’ve made a point not to see it, because I want to keep it fresh and not have any old ideas,” he said.

Rock and hunting icon Ted Nugent has agreed to pay a $1,750 fine after pleading no contest to charges stemming from a reality show appearance where he used illegal methods to kill a young deer.

California Department of Fish and Game spokesman Patrick Foy told a court on Friday that two game wardens saw the ‘Cat Scratch Fever’ rocker bait and kill a young deer with a bow and arrow while taping his Outdoor Channel series ‘Spirit of the Wild’ earlier this year, KBET-10 is reporting.

“They watched him appear to shoot a spiked buck, which is an illegal buck to take, because it’s too small. And he had it right there on television, and it wasn’t live, it was taped,” Foy said.

Nugent used a commercial deer bait called “C’mere Deer,” even though baiting animals for hunting purposes is illegal in the state.

The rock star originally faced 11 charges, including killing a deer too young to be hunted. In a deal with Yuba County prosecutors, Nugent’s attorney on Friday entered no contest pleas to the two misdemeanors.

Nugent was not in court and a spokeswoman for the star has not commented.

Not even an apparent rib injury could get Matthew McConaughey down on set of his new film “The Lincoln Lawyer” in Los Angeles, CA on August 17, 2010. The actor had a bandage around his ribs and needed help getting up from a golf cart from production crew, but Matthew kept on smiling especially when he was visited by his partner Camila Alves and their two children Levi Alves McConaughey and Vida Alves McConaughey.

According to Molly Sims, Britney Spears appears to be in desperate need of a stylist – and stat!

Molly says that Britney could use a makeover because she “has too many trends going at once” and adds that she needs to play up her good looks.

She added, “She’s so pretty – she just needs help with dressing. She gets too many trends going at once.”

Angelina Jolie has revealed that she let her kids play around with fake blood on the set of her new movie, Salt.

Contact Music reports:

Speaking at the London premiere of Salt, she says, “I would bring them in early in the mornings… and I’d let them (play with the) blood. So we play together, they try on my wigs, they play with the blood… They know it’s all silly! They test the harnesses and we have them flying around. They know what it is.”

Craziness! But I guess it’s not going to hurt them to play with fake stuff. That’s cute that they tried on all of the wigs. I wish we had pictures of that!
