ABC confirmed what EW’s Michael Ausiello first reported last month: Courteney Cox will reunite with her former Friends costar (and real-life BFF) Jennifer Aniston in the show’s second-season premiere on Sept. 22. Who will she play?

Entertainment Weekly’s EW.com has exclusive details on Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston’s ‘Cougar Town’ reunion, straight from exec producer Bill Lawrence…

“She’s going to play Courteney’s shrink named Bonnie,” reveals Lawrence, referring to Cox’s character, Jules. “Kind of a get-too-involved-in-her-life-type of therapist. Those guys are so close in real-life they kind of do that for each other anyway. Bonnie has the life Jules’ wishes she has.”

This marks only the second time the pair have worked together on a scripted series since Friends went off the air in 2004. Their first reunion was in 2007, when they re-teamed for an episode of Cox’s FX dramedy Dirt.

Lawrence says Cox rightly wanted to get Cougar Town on its feet before playing the Aniston card. “It took us a while to find the show,” acknowledges Lawrence. “And once we did and once it was clicking, I think that not only did Courteney feel comfortable talking to Jen about doing it, but comfortable in how funny she thinks the show is and that Jen would like it and fit into this world really well.”

“It starts and ends with Courteney and Jennifer being really great friends and excited to work together again —especially doing comedy together,” Lawrence adds. “Every day that those two talk they have more ideas about [the role]. It’s definitely something they’re both involved in creatively.”

Lawrence is hoping viewers that tune in for Aniston’s guest appearance will realize the show has evolved from its original conceit and stick around. “I want as many people as I can get to see what the show kind of became last year,” he says. “It went from a typical TV show trying to find itself to something that I’m really proud of and like and think is really funny.”

But back to Aniston, given the massive amounts of emotional baggage that Cox’s character carries around, might we see Aniston’s shrink return? “We’re very intentionally implying that it’s a therapist Courteney has been using for a while, and we’re certainly not going to make it like they’ll never see each other again,” he says. “So I’m crossing my fingers that if she has a good time it’ll happen again.”

TMZ has confirmed that the divorce between Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren is officially finalized. Tiger and Elin were face to face in court today in Panama City, Florida today for the execution of the agreement.

Even though the terms of the divorce were not disclosed, TMZ earlier reported that Elin is set to receive $100 million in the agreement.

Elin’s lawyers released the following statement on behalf of the couple: “We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future.”

The statement continues, “While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us.”

“Once we came to the decision that our marriage was at an end, the primary focus of our amicable discussions has been to ensure their future well-being. The weeks and months ahead will not be easy for them as we adjust to a new family situation, which is why our privacy must be a principal concern.”

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have reportedly been in the middle of a bitter separation/divorce. But according to TMZ, the two have been spotted together in Costa Rica – and they have pictures to prove it!

This is kind of interesting, considering last week, TMZ reported that Pratt threatened to release a sex tape if Heidi starlet doesn’t do another reality show with him.

He is currently shopping around multiple sex tapes of Montag, including one with Pratt and another featuring Montag with Playboy Playmate Karissa Shannon. And that isn’t all he has planned. The reality star has also announced that he’s planning a tell-all book in which he’s “not holding anything back,” including his argumentative relationship with Montag’s mother, Darlene.

Vivid Entertainment has confirmed that they are considering purchasing the multiple tapes (reportedly to the tune of $5 million!)

“Promises you the Citizen Kane of sex tapes. Honestly, Orson Wells makes a guest appearance,” Pratt teased on Twitter on Saturday.  “Recommends you wait for the Special Edition Sex Tape. Blu-Ray, director’s commentary, and bloopers!”

Heidi responded via Twitter of course, “F U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Then he said… “Seriously? You’re going to start sh*t on twitter?”

Heidi also agreed with Lauren Conrad (barf, seriously) and commented: @LaurenConrad you were right! Spencer is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sucky!!!

Are we sick of this yet?

Well, TMZ has footage AND PICTURES of the couple together in Costa Rica! If they’re really that upset with each other – then something tells me they wouldn’t be seen together vacationing, or whatever they’re doing.

I am so sick of these two – and their fake breakup. I am not surprised AT ALL that this was one big publicity stunt.

On Thursday, Britney Spears Tweeted these pictures from the set of the upcoming Britney-inspired episode of Glee. Looks like Brit will be recreating her 2003 video “Me Against the Music” in which she sang alongside Madonna. Will Britney play Madonna in the episode? Or is she just playing the Madonna role for the show?

“All my GLEEKERS in the crowd, Grab a partner take it down,” Spears, 28, tweeted on Thursday, referencing the song’s lyrics and posting an accompanying photo of herself on the “Glee” set wearing an all-white ensemble similar to the one Madonna sported in their 2003 video.
