Tiger Woods ex-wife Elin Nordegren has finally broken her silence, nearly a year after the scandal broke. She tells PEOPLE she was “blindsided” and “embarrassed”.

“I’ve been through hell” she says. While her divorce was finalized on Monday, she said they tried for months to make it work. In the end, she decided she couldn’t trust him, and she was no longer in love with him. “Initially, I thought we had a chance, and we tried really hard. I felt stupid as more things were revealed — how could I not have known anything? The word ‘betrayal’ isn’t strong enough.”

Even after all she’s been through, Elin still won’t trash Woods. She says “I wish him all the best in the future, as a person and as an athlete,” she says. “I know he is going to go down as the best golfer that ever lived, and rightfully so. I feel privileged to have witnessed a part of his golfing career.”

The interview took place over 19 hours at a home she’s rented in Windermere, Florida. Nordegren shared never-before-seen personal photographs with the magazine, and opened up about the emotional roller coaster she’s been on.

Of the affairs, Elin says she was completely blindsided. “I never suspected, not a one,” Elin says of Tiger’s many affairs, which included porn stars and Rachel Uchitel. “For the last three-and-a-half years, when all this was going on, I was home a lot more with pregnancies, then the children and my school.”

At first it was rumored that Elin would receive $750 million in her divorce from Tiger, 34 (he’s worth an estimated $1 billion). Sources now say that Elin will actually walk away with closer to $100 million. “Money can’t buy happiness,” Elin says, “or put my family back together.”

So what’s next for Elin, 30, and her two children Sam, 3, and Charlie, 19 months. “My immediate plan is for the kids and me to continue to adjust to our new situation. I am going to keep taking classes, but my main focus is to try to give myself time to heal,” she says.

She tells PEOPLE that this is her first – and last – interview, she intends to remain a private person.

Lindsay Lohan is a free woman! Lindsay was released after serving 23 of a 90 day sentence. The doctors at UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital told the judge they believed that Lindsay was well enough to be released.

Sources tell TMZ that Lindsay’s stay in the hospital cost Lindsay a whopping $40,000 a week! Her insurance does not cover the stay – which in the end totaled $130,400! Had she stayed the full 90 days, she would have been looking at over $500,000. Yikes!

According to RadarOnline, Mariah Carey is four months pregnant! The couple are said to be thrilled, and not ready to talk about the pregnancy publicly. Nick Cannon, Mariah’s husband has reportedly been telling friends privately, but publicly he’s been pretty tight lipped.

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it time and time again — when my wife feels like talking about whatever she wants to talk about, you will hear it directly from her,” he said on his radio show on New York’s 92.3 FM.

It was Mariah’s performance in Brazil over the weekend that sparked the latest rumors. (Go here to see the picture, she definitely looks pregnant!) Mariah’s been trying to get pregnant for some time, so the couple are ecstatic about the news.

Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks, both Oscar winners, have signed on to star in a movie about a nine-year-old boy who loses his father in the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers. Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is adapted from a 2005 novel by Jonathan Safran Foer.

Bullock and Hanks will play the boy’s parents, while the role of the boy, Oskar Schell has not yet been cast.

Bullock and Hanks are in talks to play the boy’s parents, with producers currently searching for a child to play the lead, Oskar Schell, in preparation for a mid-to-late January shoot in New York City. It’s a plum role, as the story orbits around Schell, a precociously intelligent, tambourine-playing vegan, scientist, artist and pacifist, and his search for a lock that matches a mysterious key left behind by his father.

However, Thompson suggests the movie will feature multiple narrators and time frames, and there is also a segue in which the child’s grandparents reveal how they met and married during the second world war. Studios Paramount and Warner Bros are teaming up on the project, with Scott Rudin, the Oscar-winning producer of No Country for Old Men, also in the frame. Together, Daldry and Rudin delivered best actress wins for Nicole Kidman in The Hours and Kate Winslet in The Reader, so the film looks like potent awards season bait.

RadarOnline has just reported that Lindsay Lohan has signed her discharge papers, and will be a free woman tomorrow!  In what is a sudden – and very surprising decision Lindsay Lohan will not have to complete her court-ordered rehabilitation program at UCLA Medical Center. Apparently Lindsay was supposed to be released on Wednesday, but a plan was secretly formulated to let her leave on Tuesday to avoid a media frenzy. So much for that.

There is a new judge behind these decisions – Judge Elden Fox is now overseeing the case. Lindsay isn’t off scott free, though, she will still have to attend out-patient classes twice a week.

So my question is – how is it that Lindsay only had to serve 22 days out of 90!?

According to sources close to the case, doctors overseeing the actress saw no cause to keep her in rehab for the entirety of the 90 days she was sentenced to by Judge Marsha Revel, who has since recused herself from further proceedings related to Lohan.

However, the ‘Mean Girls’ star is apparently livid at having had to go to rehab in the first place.

According to Pop Eater, doctors at UCLA found that Lindsay had been misdiagnosed with ADHD. She was prescribed Adderall to treat the symptoms of the disorder, but since she didn’t actually suffer from ADHD, the medicine was actually causing her a host of other problems ending in erratic behavior. Apparently she was easily weaned off her medications when she entered the facility.

“Lindsay is fuming – she is really upset that the courts put her through all this,” a source close to the 24-year-old actress says. She is apparently so upset that she is considering legal action, though Santa Monica-based criminal defense attorney Steve Cron tells FOX News, “No judge or prosecutor could be sued under these circumstances, they have absolute immunity.”
