Actress Lindsay Lohan was ordered Tuesday to serve 90 days in jail for missing alcohol counseling sessions in violation of her probation.

The judge also ordered Lohan to spend 90 days in a drug and alcohol rehab program after her jail term is completed.

The actress must begin serving her sentence on July 20, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel said.

After Revel ruled that Lohan had violated her probation in a 2007 drunken driving conviction by missing weekly alcohol counseling sessions, Lohan began sobbing as she addressed the court. “I did do everthing that I was told to do and did the best I could,” she said.

Earlier, the alcohol counseling program director testified at the probation revocation hearing that Lohan Actress missed nine alcohol counseling sessions since December, when the judge ordered her to attend weekly classes or face jail.

Lohan has apparently not missed a weekly counseling session since May 20, when Revel ruled that there was “probable cause to believe [Lohan] is in violation of probation” from a 2007 drunken driving conviction.

Lohan was ordered not to drink alcohol and an electronic bracelet was fitted on her leg on May 24 to detect if she did.

The SCRAM bracelet measured an alcohol level of 0.03 percent in the actress’ body at midnight on June 7, but reported a zero reading four hours later, Revel said during Tuesday’s hearing. The alert would be a bond violation, but not a probation violation, she said.

Revel said she would consider only if Lohan missed weekly alcohol counseling sessions, as Revel ordered in December.

Cheryl Marshall, the director of the Right On program where Lohan has been attending counseling, testified Tuesday morning that Lohan would sometimes call ahead when she was going to miss a weekly session.

A report from the program to the judge said Lohan “kept making up creative excuses” about her absences, prosecutor Danette Meyers said.

Well, it’s about time! Levi Johnston attemps to apologize to Palin family and particularly Sarah Palin.

“Last year, after Bristol and I broke up, I was unhappy and a little angry. Unfortunately, against my better judgment, I publicly said things about the Palins that were not completely true,” he tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I have already privately apologized to Todd and Sarah. Since my statements were public, I owe it to the Palins to publicly apologize.”

“So to the Palin family in general and to Sarah Palin in particular, please accept my regrets and forgive my youthful indiscretion,” Johnston says in the statement. “I hope one day to restore your trust.”

Briston Palin also added her own statement and had this to say on the matter.

“Part of co-parenting is creating healthy and honest relationships between the parents. Tripp one day needs to know the truth and needs to know that even if a mistake is made the honorable thing to do is to own up to it.”

For some reason, Levi Johnston had thought it in his best interest to attack the Palin household in the past. He claimed the Palin’s often talked of divorce and that Sarah Palin complained about her job as Alaska’s Governor. He talked about his sex life on Tyra Banks and even posed for Playgirl magazine.

Briston and Levi were in a custody battle over their son Tripp, but have since resolved their issue and are working together as co-parents.

Sounds like Levi is finally maturing!

Looks like former Bachelor contestants are coming to Vienna Girardi’s defense. I have to agree. I think Jake Pavelka is one hottie mess. He’s a jerk in a greek god’s packaging. Here’s what some former contestants had to say on Vienna’s behalf.

“He’s very cold-hearted. He is not the same warm person he came off to be,” Pappas says. “I talked to girls from his season who said the chemistry really wasn’t there. Jake was constantly turning on the smiles for the cameras. He would ham it up for the cameras and then when they weren’t around the girls had nothing to say to him.”

I watched the reunion between Jake and Vienna last night and he was so mean to her. She was there bawling her eyes out and he could have cared less.

Maybe she did annoy him to death, maybe she did cheat on him, but maybe she was driven to it. Sometimes lack of attention from a man can cause a woman to do some crazy things. Team Vienna! But Jake is still smokin’ hot. Jerk.

Yikes! I dread Britney Spears explaining sex to her kids too. Scared of that. Anyway, the pop princes is not looking forward to the day her two sons start asking where babies come from.

“I’m dreading the moment when my sons ask me how babies are made,” the singer, 28, tells the new issue of Cosmopolitan (via HuffingtonPost.com) of her sons, Sean Preston, 4, and Jayden James, 3.

She doesn’t want her kids (with ex Kevin Federline) to become famous.

“If my sons told me they wanted to be in the entertainment business, I’d lock them in their rooms until they turned 30,” she says.

Britney Spears was once more famous for her crazy antics than her singing which caused her to lose custody of her children. We all remember when she shaved off all her hair and then reluctantly entered rehab in 2007.

She is still under the conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears, but she claims that her life is pretty mellow at the moment.

“Things are pretty quiet right now,” she says. “I’ve been spending a lot of time at home with my boys. They just started karate class, which is super cute!”
