Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have six children together, and are very busy. On top of all this, Angelina tells Parade how she and Brad are just like any other couple.
On staying together, and not only for the kids:
“The children certainly tie us together, but a relationship won’t hold if it’s only about the kids. You also must be really interested in each other and have a really, really wonderful, exciting time together. We do. Brad and I love being together. We enjoy it. We need it, and we always find that special time. We stay connected. We talk about it. It’s very important.”
On sharing the parenting roles with Brad:
“He takes the kids to school; he visits me on set with the kids,” says Angelina. “I’m home for dinner, or I’m there for breakfast. We’re together all the time. We plan. Brad and I take time off between films to travel, have big experiences, do things together. That’s how we work it out.
On keeping the family a strong unit:
“If Brad and I are strong and happy, then our kids have happy parents, and that’s the best thing we can give them … Brad knows me completely, exactly as I am, every part of me. He loves me. The kids love me. They know all my flaws and all my oddities. And they accept them. And so I can feel complete.”
On love:
“I feel sad for someone who has never known love. Love elevates. You know, Brad would joke about me having this conversation about love. Love? It’s such a funny word. Brad can find certain phrases of poetry for it. I’m terrible at it. But I know it means wanting the best for the people you love, putting their interests above your own, always. Love does that. Love is what you live for.”
On how they are homebodies:
“There’s never a period when Brad and I are pulled apart. We are not separated for more than three days, ever. We stay really connected. We actually don’t go out much. It’s funny. We’re very homebound. We’re very much Mommy and Daddy in our pajamas.”
On her rebellious past:
“I used to cut myself or jump out of airplanes, trying to find something new to push up against because sometimes everything else felt too easy. I was searching for something deeper, something more. I tried everything. I always felt caged, closed in, like I was punching at things that weren’t there. I always had too much energy for the room I was in.”
On her late mother:
“I remember Mother singing in church. How pretty she was! I lit candles with her. She said she had missed nothing in life except getting to know her grandchildren. When she passed away, I brought my son to church to light a candle for her,” she says.

Playboy model and reality mom Kendra Wilkinson opens up in her new book about struggling with drugs since the age of 13.
During a “Today” show interview to push her new book, “Sliding into Home,” the former “Girl Next Door,” star said she started doing drugs when she was 13 including – eventually including methamphetamine.
“I always knew that was wrong. It was one of those things where I kind of lost myself for a little bit,” she said. “The drugs and everything, that’s what found me and accepted me, but it wasn’t me. I am that tomboy, I am that kid, that girl that loves sports. That wasn’t me so I grew out of that real fast.”
Kendra said her drug use started shortly after her father left the family and continued until she was 16. She also admitted to secretly becoming an underage stripper, but said she “wasn’t a druggie stripper.”
At 18, she appeared in Playboy and became a girlfriend of sorts to Hugh Hefner – an experience she speaks candidly about in the book. Earlier this year, Vivid Video released a sex tape of Kendra’s early days. She reportedly cashed in on it.
But Kendra has also sought to publicly transform herself.
Her new reality show on E! chronicles her marriage with pro football player Hank Baskett and the birth of their child. On the show she battles very regular problems, like trying to lose weight after pregnancy.
“I have been through a lot and have gotten through it,” said on Today. “I’m safe. I’m home. I am where I always wanted to be.”

Dina Lohan watched in disbelief as her daughter Lindsay was sentenced Tuesday to 90 days in jail for violating terms of probation over a three-year-old drug case.
“This is so not fair to do this to my child,” Dina Lohan told PopEater exclusively shortly after Judge Marsha Revel made the announcement.
The ‘Mean Girls’ actress must begin serving her sentence on July 20, however she likely won’t serve the entire 90 days. Many female inmates in Lohan’s situation only serve about 25% of their sentence, meaning that the star will only spend about 23 days behind bars.
Immediately after leaving jail, Lohan will spend another 90 days at an in-patient rehab facility.
Dina Lohan was not at the Beverly Hills courtroom for the hearing, but her ex-husband Michael was. While he declined to issue a comment following the sentencing, his spokeswoman baffled reports when she urged Lohan to report to rehab immediately, apparently unaware the actress must first go to jail. When corrected by a reporter, the unidentified rep said the rehab portion of the ruling was “a great victory” for the Lohan family.

Jennifer starts the day off picking up an iced tea at Starbuck’s, running errands, shopping for the kids, but ends the day with a parking ticket.
