After separating from Rebecca Romijn in 2004, John Stamos headed to Florida for a little R&R. The couple split in April of 2004, and it’s now being reported that during Spring Break of the same year, John may have had a little too much fun.

After having a brief fling during Spring Break, a then 17-year-old girl tried to extort hundreds of thousands of dollars from John Stamos in exchange for keeping her mouth shut about the affair.

Stamos did not say a word at yesterday’s hearing. His attorney, William Sobel, issued a statement through publicist Matt Polk that said: “The allegations made today in the courtroom by the defendants’ attorneys during opening statements will not be proven because they are simply untrue.”

Allison Coss, 24, and Scott Sippola, 31, both of Marquette, are accused of conspiring to extort $680,000 from Stamos by telling him they had photos of him with cocaine and strippers. Prosecutors contend the pictures don’t exist, and FBI agents testified Monday they found no such photos while searching the defendants’ house after their arrest.

Henderson and Assistant U.S. Attorney Maarten Vermaat agreed in their opening statements that Coss and Stamos met in Orlando, Fla., in 2004 – shortly after Stamos had separated from his wife, actress and supermodel Rebecca Romijn. The couple divorced the next year.

Henderson said Stamos, now 46, noticed Coss and another girl at a club, asked friends to bring them over and later invited the star-struck teens to his hotel room. Stamos ordered a drink for Coss even after she told him she was 17, Henderson said.

Two women who worked as strippers eventually showed up in the room with a bag of cocaine, she said, and Coss and her friend took a picture of Stamos bending over a table where the drugs had been laid out.

Henderson said Stamos and Coss later kissed on a bed and got into a hot tub together after Stamos undressed and Coss stripped to her underwear. She said Stamos offered to perform oral sex on Coss, but she declined. Florida law makes it a second-degree felony for someone 24 or older to have oral sex with anyone 16 or 17 years old. It carries a penalty of up to 15 years in prison.

Stamos eventually became frustrated, broke a bedpost with his hand and left the room before apologizing and inviting Coss to spend the night, which she did, Henderson said.

You would think that Lindsay’s 90-day-jail sentence would be just the wake up call she needs, but according to a lawyer who met with the young actress over the weekend believes she’s still not aware of the consequences of her actions.

“My impression of Lindsay is that she’s a fragile lost child – a sleeping beauty with her head in the sand. I found her not fully forewarned of the consequence of her actions,” Stuart V. Goldberg, who was contacted by Lohan after her attorney resigned, tells PEOPLE.

“I’m concerned that she’s not disciplined or tethered enough to the reality of adult consequences,” he says. “She doesn’t seem to have the awareness of what’s going to befall her.

Goldberg, a criminal defense attorney from Chicago met with Lindsay, her mom, and her sister Ali in Los Angeles. He outlined his requirements for representing clients – “100 percent loyalty and zero tolerance for dishonesty”– but “they didn’t seem to understand the urgency and gravity of the situation.”

He declined to take Lindsay’s case after meeting with Lindsay for six hours. He claimed Lindsay “was in a dangerous state” and was worried she might hurt herself. When he asked her, she “started sobbing quietly, she was genuinely in pain.”

He advised that Lindsay move out of LA, which he said was a “toxic environment for her” but Lindsay was not open to the idea. “She was like Teflon to that comment,” he says. “It just slid right off her. She seemed to have some inner deep sadness that that was her fate.”

“My real worry for her is not just the jail time,” adds Goldberg, “but my fear is that she’s overly susceptible to a probation system that’s set up for her to fail.”

Third time’s the charm?

The search is on for yet another actor to play the green monster, The Incredible Hulk. Marvel revealed yesterday that they would not be asking Edward Norton to reprise the role in the upcoming ensemble movie, The Avengers.

Eric Bana first played the Hulk back in 2003, and Norton took over in 2008.

As most of you know, I don’t like to talk much about the business of making movies because it means a lot to me to protect the audience’s fullest enjoyment of the ‘magic’ that films can have.  It seems it won’t work out for me to continue playing Bruce Banner for Marvel in ‘The Avengers.’ I sincerely hoped it could happen and be great for everyone but it hasn’t turned out as we all hoped. I am very sincerely grateful to Marvel for extending the offer and even more so for giving me the chance to be a part of the Hulk’s long and excellent history. I grew up with Banner and Hulk and have been a fan of every incarnation. I’m really proud, and very blessed, to have been one of them and will be thrilled to see him live on through other actors. Hulk is bigger than all of us, that’s why we love him, right?

When a reporter recently asked Angelina Jolie what her new thigh tattoo said, she simply responded ““Um, it’s for Brad.””

The tattoo made it’s debut in this month’s new Vanity Fair, in which Angelina Jolie proudly showed off the intimate tattoo she got for her partner, Brad Pitt.

Former ‘American Idol’ contestant Chris Daughtry and wife Deanna revealed via Daughtry’s website on Monday they are having a boy and a girl. The couple previously announced they were expecting twins in May.

In the rocker’s latest video blog, he announced, “We have big news. We are having a boy and a girl. We’re very excited about that. We do have names picked out but we’re going to keep them to ourselves until further notice.”

Daughtry and his wife are expecting twins through a surrogate. IVF was used to conceive because Deanna had a partial hysterectomy four years ago.
