Brody Jenner has been pitching a reality show about his new romance — now he’s just got to convince his girlfriend, Avril Lavigne, to co-star!

According to an insider, Brody, 26, is determined to increase his C-list level of fame, and he thinks dating Avril, 25 — in front of America — is the way to do it.

“Brody came up with the idea for a reality show, and he’s begging Avril to do it,” her pal tells In Touch.  “She’s in love with him, but isn’t sure about it, yet she doesn’t want to tell him no.”

Brody and Avril have been seen together since February — soon after his split with Playboy model Jayde Nicole and her separation from husband Deryck Whibley.

TMZ has learned famed lawyer Robert Shapiro will represent Lindsay Lohan in her jail saga, but we’re told Shapiro’s plan is not to appeal Lindsay’s 90-day jail sentence.

Sources say Shapiro, who was part of the team that successfully repped O.J. Simpson, will try to convince Judge Marsha Revel to put Lindsay in a rehab facility and either eliminate or minimize jail.

Shapiro, whose son died of a drug overdose in 2005, has a lot of experience with rehab facilities and we’re told he has a specific plan for Lindsay, and a specific place in mind — a live-in rehab facility in which Shapiro is involved. Shapiro created a foundation to help people deal with drug and alcohol problems, named after his son — The Brent Shapiro Foundation.

Shapiro was hired in a nick of time. Lindsay is supposed to turn herself in on Tuesday.

Court records show a $1 million sexual harassment lawsuit filed by a former assistant against Steven Seagal has been dismissed in Los Angeles.

Kayden Nguyen had claimed Seagal forced her to stay in a Louisiana home and that the action star repeatedly fondled her. The allegations led to the suspension of filming on the reality series ‘Steven Seagal Lawman.’

No reason was given for the dismissal granted Tuesday. Seagal’s attorneys had been trying to resolve the case through private arbitration.

Attorneys for Seagal and Nguyen did not immediately return phone messages Wednesday. Seagal had denied the allegations through his attorney — “The lawsuit filed by Kayden Nguyen against Steven Seagal is a ridiculous and absurd claim by a disgruntled ex-employee who was fired for using illegal narcotics,” Seagal’s lawyer, Marty Singer, told CBS’ Crimesider.

CBS also highlighted a video of Nguyen saying, “I can use my sex appeal to get any girl that I want and to trick any guy into getting what I want” on ‘The Tyra Banks Show’ in January 2009.

The lawsuit TMZ obtained alleged Nguyen interviewed with Seagal to become his executive assistant. Nguyen claimed she landed the job, but when she showed up for work, “Mr. Seagal had been keeping two young female Russian ‘attendants’ on staff who were available for his sexual needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.” Nguyen also claimed Seagal treated her “as his sex toy.”
