Are you getting tired of seeing pictures of Kim? I sorta am, not gonna lie. But it’s Friday – and I’m bored – and I don’t want to be working. So I posted pictures of KimK, and I’m bored with them. Sorry, don’t shoot the messenger.
Fame
On Wednesday, Kristen Stewart caused a blogosphere tornado by comparing fame to being raped. In excerpts from July’s Elle Magazine, Kristen compared paparazzi photos of her self to being raped. As soon as the words hit the paper, everyone threw a fit from rape victims to rape crisis centers. And rightfully so! I doubt that being photographed by paparazzi is quite the same as being raped.
With that said, I’m sure she didn’t mean it literally, and we should probably cut the girl some slack. Have you ever seen her speak live? She’s a bumbling mess! She gets so nervous, about half of what she says actually makes sense!
Here’s what she said to Elle Magazine:
“What you don’t see are the cameras shoved in my face and the bizarre intrusive questions being asked, or the people falling over themselves, screaming and taunting to get a reaction,” she tells the new issue of Britain’s Elle. “The photos are so… I feel like I’m looking at someone being raped.
“What I say is, that, why would I want anything that’s private to become entertainment for other people? … People say that if I just tell them everything I’ll be left alone, but God, you think if I tell people they’ll leave me alone? They pick up every little scrap, and that’s much worse.”
But since everyone jumped on the girl, she’s now opening up about her bad choice in words.
“I really made an enormous mistake – clearly and obviously,” Stewart, currently in Korea to promote the new installment of the Twilight series Eclipse, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “And I’m really sorry about my choice of words.”
Stewart, 20, is not known as one to mince words. “I’ve made stupid remarks before, and I’ve always reasoned: ‘Whatever. They can think what they want,’ ” she says. “‘Violated’ definitely would have been a better way of expressing the thought,” she notes.
“People thinking that I’m insensitive about this subject rips my guts out. I made a big mistake.”
I’ve got your back, Kristen. I know you didn’t mean it. Now do me a favor, and please don’t let Eclipse and Breaking Dawn suck. Thanks, Jocelyn.
Ashley Judd has taken some time off lately to focus on getting a diploma in public administration from Harvard University. Since graduating last week, Ashley’s ready to jump back into acting. (I’m going to pretend like her latest movie Tooth Fairy never actually happened. It was painfully bad!)
Liv Tyler was set to star opposite Patrick Dempsey in a bank-heist-comedy-caper called “Flypaper”. Liv had to drop out, so Ashley swooped in and snatched up the role!
The film, written by “The Hangover” scribes Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, will tell the story of a man caught up in two simultaneous bank robberies who tries to save a teller he is secretly in love with, according to Variety.com.
The project is due to begin filming in Louisiana later this month.
Look at these kids! Man, I think this is the first time the Real World cast actually LOOKS 20 years younger than me. (They’re not really 20 years younger than me, stop counting)
I just hope this season is more interesting than last season in DC. I think that was the worst season of RW yet!

Some may argue that Christina Hendricks is hotter than Scarlett Johansson, and vice versa. If it were up to you, who would be the hottest female right now? Well, according to Esquire, Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks was not their first choice for their “Women We Love” cover in May. They originally chose Scarlett Johansson, leaving editor-in-chief David Granger fuming.
“Scarlett completely screwed us,” Granger told an audience at a magazine conference in Toronto, the New York Daily News reports. An insider tells the paper Johansson was the number one gal Esquire wanted for the cover and she was “committed” to the photo shoot.
The Daily News was unable to reach Granger yesterday, stating his comment originally appeared in Canada’s National Post, though no trace of it appears online.
“I think her commitment on Broadway [in Arthur Miller's 'A View From the Bridge'] prevented her from making good,” an insider tells the Daily News.
Christina Hendricks was reportedly chosen from an Esquire poll that included Megan Fox (14 percent), Zoe Saldana (13 percent) and even Zac Efron (as a joke, but still, 8 percent). ‘Mad Men’ starlet Hendricks won by a landslide with 30 percent, but we have to wonder if a bit of revisionist history was in play, considering Johansson’s curious omission from the nominees.
I feel bad for Christina! I think David should have kept his mouth shut! Him opening his mouth and talking about this makes both Scarlett and Christina look bad. Who wants to be known as runner up for “Women We Love”?
