Hollywood insiders tell Showbiz Spy, __________ interpretation of the action hero role would be “very different” from Jolie’s. “________ is wanted to play a far more comic-strip version of Lara, which would be shot in 3-D and aimed at a teen audience.”
Hopefully the performance was better than her MTV Movie Awards performance. I didn’t like it at all! I thought Katy Perry did amazing! Everything was great! But then Christina Aguilera took the stage to perform songs off her new album Bionic, and it just didn’t have the same feel. I’m not digging this new Xtina.
Lady Gaga just launched her latest video for her latest #1 hit, Alejandro! The video is a whopping 8:43, and looks more like a short film than a music video!
The video was directed by Steven Klein and is described by Gaga as a “celebration and an admiration of gay love — it confesses my envy of the courage and bravery they require to be together.”
The video is totally NSFW, so be careful. I watched it, and the video reminded me a lot of Madonna’sLike a Prayer song/video. I’m sure the video is going to stir up quite a bit of controversy!
Chris Brown has been denied entry into Great Britain on the basis of his past assault conviction, so for the time being, he’s going to have to postpone his tour he had scheduled there!
Great Britain offices confirmed to BBC News that the singer was denied entrance: “We reserve the right to refuse entry to the UK to anyone guilty of a serious criminal offense. Public safety is one of our primary concerns.”
This all stems from Brown’s assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. Brown was sentenced to community service.
Tour promoter SJM confirmed the concerts have been postponed “due to unforeseen circumstances.”
The singer tweeted the news, but has since removed that message. However, he’s been letting fans know how bummed he is about the decision.
“U ever feel like the storm clouds are too thick for any sunshine to get through?” he mused on Monday.
