After stealing every scene he shot in ‘Tropic Thunder’ and then bringing the house down at Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards, Tom Cruise will be reprising his character Les Grossman for a full-length feature film, EW reports.

Paramount and MTV films announced this afternoon they are developing a movie based on Grossman. Cruise will star and produce alongside ‘Tropic Thunder’ co-star and director Ben Stiller and Stuart Cornfeld of Red Hour Films. Michael Bacall has been tapped to write the screenplay.

Keeping with the comedic tone of the planned film, both Stiller and Paramount released statements regarding Grossman.

Stiller’s said, “Les Grossman’s life story is an inspiring tale of the human class struggle to achieve greatness against all odds. He has assured me he plans to quote ‘F**king kill the s**t out of this movie and make Citizen f**king Kane look like a piece of crap home movie by the time we are done.’ I am honored to be working with him.”

Paramount Film Group president, Adam Goodman, also played along, saying, “Everything I learned in this business, I’ve learned from Les. I started out as his assistant, and from the first day he threw his desk at me when I got his lunch order wrong, I have loved him like a father.”

Christina Aguilera’s new album Bionic has been met with lukewarm reviews. Most critics are slamming the new album, while most are giving it an average rating.

From what I’ve heard of the album, it just seems to desperate to me. She actually has quite an amazing voice, and I think it just gets lost on these new songs of hers. I haven’t heard the album – so I won’t bash it until I’ve heard it. On the album she collaborates with M.I.A. and SIA, both whom I love, so I need to give it a listen!

Boy missing since Friday

Kyron Horman and his step-mother, Terri Moulton Horman, arrived at Skyline Elementary School around 8 a.m. Friday and attended a science fair at the school. Around 8:45 a.m. Terri said goodbye to Kyron and watched the second-grader walk down the hallway toward his classroom. Police say that the last time the boy was seen was about 9 a.m.

At 3:45 p.m., when the school bus arrived at Kyron’s stop without him on board, his step-mom called the school. She was told he was marked “absent” by his teacher. She called 9-1-1 just before 4 p.m. and the search effort was launched.

Portland schools sent an automated message to parents in the school district that the boy was missing. Meanwhile, police walked the school grounds with K-9 tracking teams, searched every room and closet inside the school and even checked the roof.

The search quickly snowballed as word of the little boy’s disappearance spread among the small school’s community in Northwest Portland. Police said the search area was spread across 20 miles of roadway and two square miles of land. Officers also handed out fliers and questioned drivers and area residents Monday.

By Monday, the search included 22 law enforcement agencies, according to Capt. Gates.

Investigators were trying to interview all the families of some 300 Skyline students. Gates said parents had been very cooperative.

Capt. Gates said 1,200 tips had been received by Monday, and characterized some as “viable leads”, but pleaded with people to call with more tips. “Every tip, no matter how insignificant, is important to us,” he said.

Sheriff Dan Staton said late Sunday night that he was “not prepared” to call the boy’s disappearance a kidnapping. He described Kyron as a “missing endangered child” because more than two days had elapsed since he disappeared and because search efforts were hampered by rainy weather.

“We have developed a lot of information which has to be processed thoroughly, and I am not in a position to divulge any specifics of our investigative plan at this time,” Staton said in a statement.

Police indicated their search was not limited to the area around the school but they would not specify where else they were searching.

An FBI profiler was studying everything from Kyron’s schoolwork to his friends, to try and determine where the little boy might be. Two local criminal experts told KGW that if Kyron was kidnapped, he believes all the clues point to someone who knew the boy, not a stranger.

I had to post these – because it’s crazy how much he looks like Patrick! Creepy! He looks exactly like him – his hair is just a little more fancy. Even his wife looks like Patrick’s wife… Nuts!

Wow, she looks crazy different! Looks like someone hooked a pump up to her and filled her up with air! It’s just a bit shocking considering she had been looking pretty good when she appeared on Oprah earlier this year.

Here she is in Stockholm, Sweden last night during one of her performances on her now-infamous tour. Apparently the fans in Sweden loved her show!  But her fuller figure has led fans to believe she could be with child.

Believe it or not, Whitney Houston is 47 (I think she looks so much older than that) which is the same age as Kelly Preston, who’s currently pregnant.

True Blood stars Anna Paquin, fiance Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard showed up for the premiere of HBO’s hit True Blood in Los Angeles last night.

Alexander’s girlfriend Kate Bosworth also showed up, but the couple opted not to be photographed together on the red carpet.
