The first one sucked enough – do we need a Ghost Rider 2? Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
Nicolas Cage is revving up for a Ghost Rider sequel – the actor has signed to star in a follow-up.
Rumors of a sequel have been rife in recent months, and now movie bosses have persuaded Cage to ride back into action as demon vigilante Johnny Blaze, according to producer Mike De Luca.
De Luca confirmed the news to Collider.com, but revealed the 2007 film’s other star, Eva Mendes, will not reprise her role in the new movie, currently titled Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. At least Eva is smart enough to stay away!
The movie will be set in Europe and De Luca reveals he is in talks to have the picture made in 3D.
Megan Fox is engaged again reports the new Us Weekly.
On-again beau Brian Austin Green popped the question to Fox, 24, June 1.
But in all the excitement, the happy couple somehow lost the ring, sources tell Us. “I saw her jumping up and down,” a witness tells Us Weekly of the beachside proposal at the Four Seasons Hualalai hotel on the Big Island in Hawaii.
“Later, I saw a half dozen staff sifting through the sand.” Alas, the 2-carat sparkler, which the pair picked out together from Excalibur jewelry store in Beverly Hills, remains MIA.
“Security and maintenance staff spent a couple of hours looking for it,” another source tells Us. “No one found it.”
Green, 36, and Fox began dating in 2004 but called off their previous two-year engagement in February 2009.
It took James Gandolfini 6 years to get the story of Ernest Hemingway and Martha Gellhorn to the screen.
Now HBO has just given the green light to Hemingway & Gellhorn, an original movie produced by Gandolfini, who first was attached to star in the project in 2004 when it was envisioned as a feature.
He then brought Hemingway to HBO through his Attaboy production banner, which has been based at the pay cable network since 2006.
It was worth the wait now that it stars Clive Owen and Nicole Kidman as one of American literature’s most famous couples.
‘American Pie’ actor Chris Klein was arrested early Wednesday on suspicion of driving under the influence, TMZ is reporting. Police say Klein was pulled over on a freeway in Los Angeles at 3:13 AM and was arrested after failing a field sobriety test.
It’s unclear if Klein, 31, is in police custody or if he posted bail.
This isn’t the star’s first brush with the law. In early 2005, he was arrested and charged with with two misdemeanor counts of DUI after police clocked his blood-alcohol level at .20, far exceeding California’s .08 limit.

Words cannot express how much I love Stephen Dorff, but if they could – they’d also express how much I love Sophia Coppola. I met Stephen when I was in college at the opening of the Planet Hollywood in Vancouver, BC, and I’ve been pining over the pint sized actor ever since. I think he has an unbelievable talent, and I’m absolutely THRILLED to see him in something again!
The fact that he’s in a Sophia Coppola movie makes my heart flutter! I looooove me some Sophia Coppola. I loved Virgin Suicides, and Lost in Translation was perfection.
This movie looks like it will be right up my alley. I love Elle Fanning (Dakota’s younger sister) and from the looks of it, Stephen and Elle make a great father/daughter duo.
Take a minute to watch this trailer, you won’t be disappointed!
Somewhere opens Dec. 22. Dorff plays “a bad-boy actor stumbling through a life of excess at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Hollywood.” As you can see in the clip, he’s visited by his young daughter, played by Elle Fanning.
