Robert Pattinson isn’t the only famous vampire in his family.

Researchers at Ancestry.com discovered that Pattinson and the Transylvanian leader (real name: Vlad III Dracula) are connected through their relationship to the British royal family. Prince William and Prince Harry are Pattinson’s distant cousins; Vlad the Impaler was their distant uncle.

“Tracing Pattinson’s family back to Vlad was difficult research, but the pieces that unraveled created the perfect accompaniment to the Twilight Saga,” said Anastasia Tyler, a genealogist at Ancestry.com. “Without any myth or magic, we find royalty and vampires lurking in Pattinson’s life — making his story just as supernatural as the one he’s playing on screen.”

Also connected to the prince’s lineage and therefore to Dracula? Stephenie Meyer, the author of the “Twilight” series.

The latest big-screen installment in the popular vampire saga, “Eclipse,” opens June 30.

A few months after breaking up with NFL star Reggie Bush, Kim Kardashian has found herself another football player to play footsies with. A source told Us Magazine that she’s now seeing Dallas Cowboys player Miles Austin.

A source tells the mag that Kardashian, 29, wants to take it slow with Austin, 26. “They are dating, but she doesn’t want to rush anything.” Another friend of Kim’s says she wants to date someone who “gets her busy lifestyle.”

PEOPLE’s source says the two are officially dating, though “he’s not quite her boyfriend.” Still, it sounds pretty serious: “She thinks he’s a really good guy. He’s really sweet to her. He thinks Kim is his dream girl.”

A source tells PEOPLE that Kardashian and Austin met in a LA restaurant. “They exchanged numbers and have been talking ever since. They’ve had a few dates and it’s going really well. They just really connected.” The article also notes Kardashian was recently, if briefly, linked to Portuguese soccer luminary Cristiano Ronaldo.

I gotta admit, when I watched their season of the Bachelor, the gay thing popped into my head a couple times.

Bachelor couple Jake Pavelka and ex-fiance Vienna Girardi are in a public he-said-she-said tug of war right now. He claims that she was cheating. She claims they weren’t physical. And that wasn’t all, according to RadarOnline. They are reporting that a source told them Jake’s disinterest in sex led Vienna to believe the pilot was “not into girls.

“Even though she was in love with him, she knew he didn’t love her, ” a source claims.

Vienna eventually came to the conclusion that the real reason for Jake’s aversion to intimacy with her was not his religious ideals but his lack of interest in women. “He just wasn’t ever physical with her,” the source added. “Vienna told me, ‘I don’t think Jake is into girls.’”

The source confirmed Vienna’s accusations that Jake’s affections were purely for publicity reasons. “He was only nice to her in front of the camera and he was only affectionate on the red carpet,” the source added.

If this isn’t true, then it’s quite a horrible rumor to start spreading. If it is true, then I can’t wait to turn into the On the Wings of Love: Bachelor Looking for a Bachelor edition!
