Christina Aguilera is excited about her upcoming album, but says it comes with a cost. It’s a not easy to be a pop superstar and be a mommy. But it’s all about balance and she wouldn’t want it any other way.
ââ¬ÅThe toughest part is the schedule ââ¬â balancing that between being a mommy and being able to still concentrate and focus on the work,ââ¬Â Aguilera, 29, told PEOPLE at the MTV Movie Awards Sunday at Gibson Amphitheatre in L.A.
ââ¬ÅIââ¬â¢ll go and tuck my son in at night and sing him to sleep [with] a lullaby, and then I go in the studio and sing. Itââ¬â¢s definitely a challenge and a balancing act, but one that I take on. I wouldnââ¬â¢t have it any other way.ââ¬Â
ââ¬ÅI really like to let him be creative and give him the freedom to really have fun,ââ¬Â she says.
ââ¬ÅI think fun is a really big element of life itself, and being able to take in the small things. Iââ¬â¢m instilling that in him early ââ¬â being playful, and allowing him to get messy and dirty as a boy and just have fun ââ¬â to really push for his individuality.ââ¬Â
Keep up the good work Christina. It looks like you have it together when it comes to juggling work and family.
