Meanwhile, Jessica has hinted she’s looking for love with a celebrity boyfriend, insisting anyone she dates must “understand her lifestyle.”

The singer was married to former boy-band star Nick Lachey, and has since dated singer John Mayer and football star Tony Romo. Simpson has been single since splitting with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Romo last summer, and she admits she’s ready to give love another go.

“Pineapple Express” actor James Franco’s appearance at the “Saturday Night” premiere in New York City, New York on May 2, 2010 stirred up quite a few questions concerning the star’s well being. The usually strapping young actor showed up to the event looking sweaty, unfocused and could hardly keep his eyes open. Franco has always been an advocate of recreational marijuana use, but his thin frame and frighteningly questionable marks on his middle arm makes one wonder if he hasn’t started dabbling in something harder.

UPDATE: According to ICYDK reader Syd, he offers up an explanation – and it totally makes sense!  I think he’s probably right, and I’m happy to read another explanation of the marks besides thinking he’s into drugs or something of the sort!

Franco has been out in Utah the last 2 months shooting Danny Boyle’s 127 hours – the story of Aron Ralston, the hiker who got trapped under a rock and SAWED HIS ARM OFF! It’s the SAME ARM & EXACT PLACE where you can see those marks on his arm. (Ralston tied a tourniquet around his arm before sawing it off right at the elbow).

On Sunday, a rep for Halle Berry confirmed her breakup with Gabriel Aubry – and it turns out that the couple called it quits a while back.

“Berry and Aubry split some time ago,” her rep tells UsMagazine.com, “but remain close friends and committed parents to their daughter.”

Berry, 43, and Aubry, 34, met at a 2006 Versace photo shoot. Their daughter Nahla was born in March 2008.

Aubry first acknowledged the split in a statement early Saturday. “[Halle] is, and will forever be one of the most special and beautiful people that I have ever known, and I am certain that we will continue to love and respect for one another,” he said.

Out and about in New York City over the weekend, single Berry seemed cheerful: she told Us at a Thursday charity event that Nahla was “fantastic”; on Friday, she saw pal Denzel Washington perform in Broadway’s Fences; on Saturday, she cheered on thousands of walkers in Times Square for the EIF’s Revlon Run/Walk for Women event for breast cancer, and then indulged in a cheeseburger over a leisurely lunch at eatery Rue 57 with a gal pal.

“She was in good spirits,” an observer told Us of the meal.

Married and divorced twice before Aubry (they never wed), Berry gushed in the March 2009 issue of Essence: “I feel more married now than I did in any of my actual marriages..We live the truth of that and that’s more important than a piece of paper .”
