Katie Holmes spent the day shopping around Los Angeles on Robertson Blvd. over the weekend with her daughter Suri Cruise. Katie walked out of Steven Alan store with a mass amount of bags carried by one of her bodyguards as she carried Suri out while covering her face with her long hair. Katie seems to have a blemish she is a little embarrassed about, in half the pictures she’s covering it.
Supermodel and ‘Project Runway’ maven Heidi Klum celebrating her fifth wedding anniversary with musician Seal the exact same way they celebrated their fourth — by renewing their vows. The couple, who have turned ther anniversary into the tradition of throwing a vow renewal party, did just that in a small ceremony (well, 80 people… small a celebrity party) in Mexico, PEOPLE is reporting.
According to PEOPLE, the theme of this year’s party was black-and-white attire, or as one guest put it, “real wedding” dress. That breaks from tradition of past themes, like last year’s retro party, where guests were encouraged to get decked out in old-style garb.
Their motto for the fifth anniversary? “Five years: Piece of cake!”
Seal and Klum have four children together — the most recent being baby Lou, who was born seven months ago.
Legendary jazz singer Lena Horne, who starred in ‘Cabin in the Sky’ in 1943, died Sunday. She was 92. Horne died at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, according to hospital spokeswoman Gloria Chin. Chin would not release any other details. Her death was announced by her son-in-law, Kevin Buckley. Horne is survived by her daughter, Gail Lumet Buckley.
In the 1940s, Horne was one of the first black performers hired to sing with a major white band, the first to play the Copacabana nightclub and among a handful with a Hollywood contract. In 1943, MGM Studios loaned her to 20th Century-Fox to play the role of Selina Rogers in the all-black movie musical ‘Stormy Weather.’ Her rendition of the title song became a major hit and her signature piece.

Until things turned romantic, Bryant said, “He was the perfect gentleman.”
