Poor Alyssa Milano! Did her show even get a fair chance?

It’s that time of the year again when big wigs over at the broadcast networks decide the fate of some of your favorite television shows.

According to EW.com, the networks are in the process of deciding whether they should save or kill a TV show that is “on the bubble,” meaning the ones that have yet to be renewed for the 2010-2011 TV season.

“FlashForward,” “Better Off Ted,” “Scrubs” and Alyssa Milano’s short-lived comedy “Romantically Challenged” are among the ABC shows that have officially been cancelled. On a good note, the sci-fi alien series “V” will be coming back for a 13-episode second season.

Heidi Pratt — who called the cops on her mother Darlene Egelhoff Thursday — isn’t the only Hills star clashing with her family.

Her husband Spencer also has distanced himself from his family, reports the new Us Weekly (on newsstands now).

He is estranged from younger sister Stephanie and doesn’t speak to his folks because “he felt his parents would talk to him only about Stephanie and that they charged him with taking care of her,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “He thinks she’s a loser and doesn’t want anything to do with her.”

Apparently, his parents have had it with him as well.

“They noticed him changing two years ago and stayed by his side. But now it’s too much,” a source tells Us Weekly. “They even took the pictures of him out of their home.”

Us Weekly reports Spencer, 26, and Heidi, 23, have become virtual shut-ins at their $7,000-a-month rented L.A house, which is filled with framed covers of magazines on which they’ve appeared. (See photos)

“No one ever visits,” a local tells Us, and the couple rarely leave. “Heidi sits and stares in the mirror, while Spencer plots and schemes on his projects all day,” adds a Pratt source. “He sits on the Internet, watches TV and tries to get press. That is all he does. It’s totally sick.”

Yesterday, TMZ unveiled video of Miley Cyrus dirty dancing at last summer’s wrap party for her most recent flick, ‘The Last Song.’ The video shows the pop star giving the movie’s producer, 44-year-old Adam Shankman, a pretty intense lap dance. And today, TMZ caught up with her dad to get his thoughts on his daughter’s graphic dance moves.

The video shows openly gay Shankman grinding up against Cyrus with a drink in hand. It was even reported that several people left the party after the dance display because they felt uncomfortable or had small children with them. Cyrus’ parents were not in attendance.

But earlier today, when TMZ got a chance to chat with Cyrus’ dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, about his thoughts on the video, he replied, “It’s what people her age do.” He went on to say his daughter was just “having fun.”
