Pamela Anderson Gets Immortalized in Gold, Twice!

If Pamela Anderson’s shapely allure ever fades, at least she’s been cast as shimmering, scantily clad twins for a new London art exhibition. The life-sized polished bronze statue, titled ‘The Ecstatic Autogenesis of Pamela,’ is part of British artist Marc Quinn’s series showcasing people “who have transformed their appearances,” the UK’s Coventry Telegraph reports.
The former ‘Baywatch’ and recent ‘Dancing With the Stars’ vixen told the Guardian that she loves Quinn and his work. “I didn’t even ask what he wanted to do with me. I would have done anything.” She likes that the finished product is “raw, not perfect. I think that’s what makes it interesting. Sexy isn’t perfect.”
Of his inspiration, Quinn said, “What Pamela has done is use surgery and transformation within the mainstream cultural context, whereas everyone else in the show has struck out on their own.”
