Anna Paquin has come out of the closet.

The True Blood star says “I’m bisexual, and I give a damn,” in a new online public service announcement for the Give a Damn Campaign, aimed at promoting gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality.

Now 27, Paquin dated actor Kieran Culkin in 2007, and has never discussed her sexuality with the press. She became engaged to True Blood costar Stephen Moyer, 40, in August 2009. The couple hasn’t yet announced their wedding date.

“We always take the p— out of each other and are silly with each other, and it is great,” Brit actor Moyer has said. “We’re very, very happy. She’s the best.”

Launched Thursday, the “Give a Damn” campaign — featuring Elton John, Whoopi Goldberg, Sharon and Kelly Osbourne, Wanda Sykes and others — is part of singer Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors Fund.

“In my life I’ve crossed paths with many different people and I’ve seen firsthand what it means to be discriminated against,” Lauper says. “As a straight person, I have a responsibility to stand up for gay and transgender people each and every day. We all have to get involved; we all have to give a damn.”

The War of the Lohans has once again heated up.

On Thursday, Lindsay Lohan lashed out at her estranged father Michael, alleging once again that he abused her as a kid.

She Tweeted that while growing up he “verbally/literally HURT my mother, brothers, sister Aliana … why, i ask u?”

A few hours later, the actress, 23, removed the post.

She didn’t explain why, but wrote: “My father just sent me this as I was leaving my gym ‘I told you to stop Linds this is the last time… and take down the tweet about me HURTING MOM.. U will be getting a call from SOMEBODY today to end you.’”

Michael tells X17 Lindsay likely posted the abuse claim to retaliate against him for his recent attempts to get her to go back to rehab. (He told TMZ he feared she was going to wind up like “Brittany Murphy or DJ AM.”)

“What Lindsay is saying on Twitter is nothing more than nonsense,” he says. “As far as the ex father comment, maybe she’s divorcing me today, but she’ll remarry me once she gets her life back. I hope everyone can see that now she’s really crying out for help….

“Obviously she realizes that I’m serious about getting her into rehab,” he continues. “She’s beginning to panic because I’ve been contacting people around her, as well as attorneys of my own, to take measures to get her the help she needs.”

False alarm!

Dancing With the Stars co-host Brooke Burke isn’t pregnant with her fifth child, despite a report posted on her Web site, ModernMom.com, that was picked up by other outlets.

“April Fools Tweetie pies!!!!! But seriously!!!!! I am not preggers…. ” Burke, 38, wrote on Twitter Thursday afternoon. “where is your sense of humor?!? I will not be Dancing With baby #5. lOL Got you!!!! April Fools!!!”

Burke says “the joke was over when my MOM called me at my office to ask if I am Pregnant! The answer is a big Fat NO!… just because I have 4 kids, and I’m crazed…doesn’t mean I don’t have a sense of humor!!!”

But that doesn’t mean she wouldn’t get pregnant again. “David wishes…..” she wrote, referring to her fiance of three years, actor/singer David Charvet.

The two — who began dating in 2005 — are raising daughters Neriah Shae and Sierra Sky (from Burke’s first marriage to plastic surgeon Garth Fisher) and Heaven Rain and Shaya Braven.

Burke won the seventh season of DWTS. She also hosted Wild On! and posed in Playboy.

Hudson is no stranger to publicly discussing her weight: After being called “the big girl” as a contestant on American Idol, the singer transformed her body for her Oscar-winning turn as Effie in Dreamgirls by packing on more than 20 lbs. with a diet of “cakes and cookies and lots of fried food,” she told People. She later lost the weight for the premiere of the film. Celebrities who have represented Weight Watchers in the past include Jenny McCarthy, Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, and Lynn Redgrave.

Just as Joe Jonas is showing the world he’s happily dating Demi Lovato, another Jonas brother finds himself single: Nick Jonas and his on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez have called it quits, a source confirms to People.

Though the couple never publicly confirmed they rekindled their relationship, the source says, “They were an item, but they are no longer together.”

According to the source, the Disney Channel stars, both 17, broke up in early March, largely because work was going to keep them apart: Gomez is scheduled to film a movie in Europe this summer, while Jonas is expected to tour with his siblings at the same time.

Though they are no longer romantically involved, “it’s evident to everyone that they will always have a super strong connection,” says the source.

Since the split, Jonas has been filming his show Jonas, and Gomez has also tried to distract herself with her active work schedule, which includes designing a clothing line for Kmart and promoting her album Kiss & Tell in Spain and France.

“It’s never fun to go through a breakup,” says the source, “but Selena has a lot of friends she’s leaning on for support.”

A New Musician Friend
One friend Gomez has been spending a lot of time with: Cameron Quiseng, 19, bass player in the new boy band Allstar Weekend.

On March 23, Quiseng joined Gomez and her BFF Taylor Swift and Glee’s Cory Monteith for what appeared to be a double date. Gomez also posted a Twitter pic of herself and Quiseng after another bowling outing on March 16, with the note, “I won.”

In November, Allstar Weekend opened for Gomez when she performed at the House of Blues in Anaheim and in San Diego, and since then the band of four friends from San Diego has been featured on Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing and toured with Emily Osment. Their album is due for release June 22.

Internet buzz that Carnie Wilson fainted while taping an episode of The Newlywed Game is false, a show source tells People.

“She didn’t collapse. She got lightheaded on the set one day,” says the source about the March 19 incident.

Clearing up rumors about the 41-year-old host of GSN’s Newlywed Game, the show source adds: “It wasn’t a big deal. She resumed work less than an hour later.”

GSN and Carnie’s rep could not be reached for comment.

Wilson, who has been struggling with weight loss after undergoing bypass surgery in 1999, told PEOPLE in February she “needs help” with her weight battle. “I don’t want to be drastic. I want to be realistic,” she said.

Erykah Badu says her buzzed-about new music video, in which she strips off her clothes and references the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, has been “grossly misinterpreted by many.”

The singer and native of Dallas, who is raising her three children there, Tweeted: “I would never disrespect JFK. his revolutionary thinking is my inspiration. my performance art has been grossly misinterpreted by many.”

The video for her song “Window Seat,” which was filmed on March 17 and has been pulled from several sites, shows Badu stripping as she walks along a sidewalk in Dallas’s Dealey Plaza, now a popular tourist attraction. After Badu removes all of her clothing, she feigns being shot in the head, falling to the ground near where Kennedy was fatally wounded on Nov. 22, 1963.

Badu, 39, gave a play-by-play account of the shoot on Twitter, posting, “There were children there. i prayed they wouldnt b traumatized.” In addition, onlookers were “yelling, THIS IS A PUBLIC PLACE : YOU OUGHTA BE ASHAMED : PUT YOUR CLOTHES ON : DAMN GIRL! etc…”

And 64 percent of People.com readers polled agreed with those onlookers, voting that Badu went too far with her video.
