Legendary diva Whitney Houston was dogged by critics during the Asian and Australian legs of her world tour. Now in Europe, the singer is facing a new problem — Houston has canceled a Tuesday night performance in Paris due to illness. A statement received by the Associated Press says an upper respiratory infection has forced Houston to postpone the first show of the European tour on doctors’ orders.

The statement says, “[Houston] deeply regrets having been forced to postpone the show.” Her tour will continue in Manchester, England, later this week, but Houston would love to return to the City of Light before the end of the concert series.

The tour is in support of Houston’s first album in seven years. ‘I Look To You’ was released in 2009, featuring collaborations with Alicia Keys and R Kelly.

The pop singer looked like she had a long night out with eye make up smeared around her eyes as if she just woke up and Jason looked to have been keeping his distance from his lady. As first reported by TMZ.com, former “Desperate Housewives” actress Nicollette Sheridan is suing series creator Marc Cherry on charges of assault and battery, gender violence, wrongful termination, and “intentional infliction of emotional distress.”

In the suit, obtained by EW, Sheridan alleges that Cherry created a “hostile work environment,” regularly “demeaning” writers and staff, and behaving in a “dismissive, demeaning, and unprofessional manner” towards her both on and off set.

She claims that on September 24, 2008, after she questioned something in the script, Cherry took her aside and “forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head.” Although Sheridan immediately complained to ABC, she claims no action was taken.

The legal papers paint Cherry as someone who became hostile to those who “questioned his authority,” and Sheridan claims her complaints led directly to her termination. What’s more, the suit says, Cherry reportedly told third parties that “he hoped Sheridan would be distraught as a result of the termination.”

In a separate incident cited by way of example, Cherry allegedly once responded to “Housewives” co-star Teri Hatcher’s complaints to the network by saying, “I hope Teri Hatcher gets hit by a car and dies.”

Sheridan is seeking $20 million.

During a Monday radio appearance for On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Heidi Montag revealed new excruciating details about her plastic surgery marathon earlier this year, in which she underwent ten procedures in one day.

In addition to familiar-sounding enhancements — nose, cheekbone and chin jobs, eyebrow lift, breast enlargement, fat injections — Montag said that she also “had my back scooped.”

When Ryan Seacrest asked her to clarify what a “back scoop” is, Montag replied, “I actually didn’t know. I might be the first one to try it. It carves out your back a little bit.”

The star said she also “had my waist cinched in on both sides.”

And the reality star has all the gory details on tape. “I have the footage of my ten procedures,” Montag warned. “Going into it, getting it done…I’ve watched a little bit.” The bloody footage might see the light of day in a future reality show, Montag hinted.

Post-surgery, Montag says she “has a great body now,” but there are drawbacks. “I’m very weird about hugging people now — [my body] is very fragile.”

And, with breasts that are now size “E or F” depending on the bra, Montag said that jogging is also out.

The Hills star also talked up her ambitions to be the “blonde Tomb Raider,” and it turns out she shares a fondness for weaponry with the original Lara Croft, Angelina Jolie.

“I actually have been training with guns and knives for years,” Montag said. “I go to the firing range. I’ve been training with my M4s and Glock-19 for years!”
