E! has learned exclusively that Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt have broken up for a second time.

Despite rumors that the two were on their way to wedded bliss, a source tells E! the couple recently split up. A source says Paris is the one who broke it off. “Obviously she broke up with him,” says the source.

Still, when asked earlier this week about a possible split, Paris told E!, “all is good.”

Obviously, there’s more here than meets the eye…

The split comes after weeks of Hilton and Reinhardt being photographed out separately. While Paris spent Easter with her family in Palm Springs, Reinhardt was in Aspen with his family.

Meanwhile, this weekend, Paris has been living it up looking single in Las Vegas where she partied at Wet Republic and Tao (where, coincidentally, Kim Kardashian’s ex Reggie Bush was also seen, though a source tells E! that Hilton and Bush did not interact).

Sources say that Reinhardt had thought about visiting Hilton in Sin City to talk things out. “He was in Aspen with his dad this weekend and was considering stopping by Vegas on the drive back, but changed his mind,” says the source. “I’m pretty sure that’s why he went to Aspen…to hide out and try to get over her.”

Yet if Reinhardt intends to win her back, he faces an uphill battle. This time, says the source, It’s really over.

Actress Dixie Carter - best known for her role as Southerner Julia Sugarbaker on Designing Women – passed away Saturday morning. She was 70.

Her cause of death was not disclosed.

“This has been a terrible blow to our family,” her rep Steve Rohrsaid said in a statement. “We would appreciate everyone understanding that this is a private family tragedy.”

Carter – who also appeared on Broadway – earned an Emmy nod in 2007 for a guest role on ABC’s Desperate Housewives.

She is survived by husband of 26 years, actor Hal Holbrook, and two daughters from a previous marriage.

Bronx-born actress Stacey Dash charmed ‘Clueless’ fans in the role of high-maintenance sidekick Dionne in the 1995 comedy. Now the star is involved in a messy split. TMZ has posted documents that show Dash claims her husband was violent on multiple occasions and she obtained a restraining order the day she filed for divorce. The restraining order was signed by a judge in January and remains in effect — Dash states in the document that Emmanuel Xuereb hit her in the face, head and body during their two-plus years of marriage.

Dash, 44, says her husband once violently pinned her down to a bed while intoxicated, threatening that it would be the worst night of her life. The actress claims she was too afraid to seek police intervention, and Xuereb is currently prohibited from any contact with Dash or her two children from a previous relationship. For the duration of the restraining order, he is required to stay 100 yards or more from Dash and her family.

The couple is due back in court in June.
