Halle Berry is reportedly splitting from model Gabriel Aubry, ending a five-year relationship. The couple has a 2-year-old daughter, Nahla Ariel Aubry.
“They’ve worked out a financial and custody deal. They spent months hammering out a deal with a lawyer,” RadarOnline.com reports.
Although we have yet to hear from either beautiful celebrity’s camp, Radar’s source says the couple’s age difference — he’s 34, she’s 43 — played a big part in their split.
“Gabriel just felt it wasn’t working anymore,” Radar’s source says. “When they were first together, the 9-year age difference between them didn’t phase him, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever dated and he was totally in love. But as time went on he started feeling it more and more. Also, Gabriel started noticing other women and being attracted to others, and he felt it just wasn’t right to stay with Halle in those circumstances.”
Radar also reports the couple will share equal custody of their daughter.
Berry was previously wed to former baseball player David Justice for five years and to singer Eric Benet for four years.

What do you think of Gwyneth’s dress?

Kate Hudson hit another red carpet in NYC on Thursday — and this time, she left her bra at home.
After weeks of covering up the results of a recent boob job, Hudson made the evidence abundantly clear in a silky, dark lavender slip dress for Chopard’s 150th anniversary celebration at the Frick Collection.
The star didn’t talk to press that evening, but bonded with fellow starlets Gwyneth Paltrow, Claire Danes and Christina Ricci.
Hudson tried to stay demure and camouflaged at a Tuesday red carpet for her crime-drama The Killer Inside Me — but a gust of wind nearly blew up her black Louis Vuitton dress. Costar Jessica Alba quickly ran over to pull down Hudson’s hemline as they giggled.
Eighties supermodel Paulina Porizkova slammed Hudson’s breast augmentation in a blog post. “I used to use [Hudson] as an example of the perfect beauty with a small chest,” Porizkova lamented. “Now, with her new boobs, she just looks like any California blond actress. Instead of enhancing, she has diminished herself.”

In one of the most unconventional casting “announcements” seen, actor Tom Hanks used his Twitter and TwitPic accounts to share who else will be appearing with him and Julia Roberts in his comedy Larry Crowne, which he wrote with Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) and is currently directing.
Already picked up for distribution by Universal, the comedy has Hanks playing “a man forced to reinvent himself and find a new career as he navigates the second act of his life” and it will reunite him with Roberts after the two co-starred in Mike Nichols’ Charlie Wilson’s War two years ago. (In fact, the movie is already shooting on one of the same soundstages Nichols used for that movie.)

That’s how Lindsay Lohan describes her recent photo shoot covered in blood, a bra and holding a gun to her head.
It’s certainly not something her dad would like, and the rest of the Twitterverse isn’t too happy about the pics, either. People are calling them crazy, perverse and even a cry for help.
But they really are meant to be art, photographer Tyler Shields tells E! News exclusively.
“To me, it’s not that big a deal, but I can understand that it’s a big deal to other people,” he says. “She’s participating in an artistic adventure. This is not just her running around on the streets with a gun.”
His project is a book called The Dirty Side of Glamor, which Shields describes as “people doing crazy things in a crazy way” and compares the shoots to filming scenes in a movie.
More importantly, it was Lohan who contacted him about participating and, while Shields conceptualized the shoot itself, she knew the kind of macabre things would be in store.
“She wanted to be a part of what I was doing,” he says. “When someone comes to me and they’ve already seen my work and already know what it is, nine times out of 10, they knew what they’re getting into and they know what they’re going to be a part of and they want to do it.”
Shields says Lohan was gung-ho for the duration of the experience—before during and after the camera started snapping.
“There was not any diva behavior at all to me,” he claims. “But also she wanted to be a part of what I was doing and I’m sure that makes a difference.
