Because your morning needs more… Ryan Gosling

HOT!

Ryan Gosling
and Steve Carell where on the set of their new comedy in a Beverly Hills mall.

The as-yet-untitled project is said to revolve around a man (Carell) contending with marital troubles and a sputtering relationship with his children. Gosling will assume the role of the central character’s “suave best friend” in the pic, which will be helmed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, directors of the upcoming and already-controversial black comedy I Love You Phillip Morris.

Spencer Pratt: Kate Hudson Got a Terrible Boob Job

Spencer Pratt is wondering why Kate Hudson even got a boob job in the first place.

Days after Us Weekly reported that Hudson, 31, had a small breast augmentation, the actress showed off her new chest at Coachella over the weekend.

But the 26-year-old Pratt — whose wife Heidi now has a “E or F” bra size following her infamous 10 operations-in-a-day — isn’t impressed.

“How is it possible to get breast implants and still not have breasts,” he Twittered Monday. “Kate H – get ur money back…”

Referring to Dr. Frank Ryan (who performed Montag’s surgeries), Pratt then added, “I gotta guy who will hook you up!”

In another message, Pratt took aim at Robert Rey — a.k.a. Dr. 90210 — who tells UsMagazine.com that Montag, 23, is sending a bad message to girls for altering her appearance so drastically. Pratt says Dr. 90210 is a hypocrite because his daughter is “into plastic.”

Dancing: Evan Lysacek Is Ready to (Sci-Fi) Rumba

Straight from Dancing with the Stars contestant Evan Lysacek:

Hello everyone! It’s been another busy week for all eight couples left in the competition. I’ve heard that it’s at about this point in season — we’re almost halfway! — that contestants have trouble keeping up their energy. You’d think with the traveling that Anna and I have done the past several weeks for Stars on Ice that we’d feel run down. But It’s actually been the opposite for me because I’m so busy. When I dance in the morning it energizes me and I’m able to sustain that energy level through the skating show at night. I’m so excited to perform every on the ice, and that in turn gives me the energy to go back and start dancing the next day.

This week’s theme is the movies. We’re not required to tell a story from a movie or relate our routine from a movie, we’re just supposed to dance our hearts out to a song from a movie. That’s where things get interesting. Anna and I are doing the rumba this week to a song from a sci-fi action movie. I don’t want to give too many details away, so I’m just going to leave it at that.

The rumba can be a tricky little number to master. It’s requires loose hips and sensual moves. It’s the dance of love, so it can look really cheesy, especially if there’s not a natural connection between the dancers. Anna and I wanted to do something classy and romantic with our rumba. We liked what Pamela and Damian did last week. Their rumba wasn’t sexual — it was tasteful, so we took a note from them when we rehearsed our routine.

This has been the most challenging dance for me so far because the hip action in the rumba is so opposite from what I do on the ice. I love a challenge and I love working hard, so I’ve jumped right in to overcome the obstacle of trying to loosen my hips up. But when Anna and I rehearse on the road, we’re often in hotel ballrooms and banquet meeting rooms. So a lot of times we guess the size of the ballroom on the show and try to choreograph accordingly. We also lack a key training tool when we travel — mirrors. The mirrors in dance studios are there so you can see how your moves look and practice your technique. When Anna and I rehearse she is focusing her attention on not only teaching me the routine, but she is constantly refining my movements, my lines, my form. The woman is amazing.

It’s always interesting coming back to L.A. on Sundays to sort of measure and adjust and see where we stand amongst the group. I hate having to leave town and go on the road, but everyone this season has been great about keeping in touch via Twitter, texting, emails. Back in L.A., we all eat together and get ready for the Monday and Tuesday shows. The time we spend together is so much fun. I know I have said this before, but we all have become very close. I didn’t know that other seasons haven’t been like this until one of the producers said how cool it’s been to have a cast with so much chemistry on and off the show.

Some people have asked me if the video packages from rehearsal are accurate. Some of the packages have shown a few of the couples arguing with each other. And yes, that’s all true. The production team is very honest about editing the footage to reflect what really happens in rehearsals. It’s understandable there’s some frustration and tension when you’re trying to learn something brand new within a matter of days, so that you can perform it live on national television in front of, oh, 20 to 25 million viewers. There’s pressure and anxiety and short fuses every now and again. But just like you might fight with your brother or sister, at the end of the day it all gets resolved. It really is like a family dynamic in that respect. And I assure you, when we’re all together we’re all getting along. Each week we cheer each other on because we genuinely do want everyone to do well. And I think our camaraderie has been reflected in the ratings this season.

I hope you’ll fill up a bowl with popcorn and enjoy movie night at the ballroom tonight. But don’t get too comfortable in your easy chair — you need to remember to vote for your favorites after you watch the show! Happy viewing!

John Corbett on SATC 2: Carrie Could Have Affair With Aidan

Infidelity and the city?

Maybe.

In Sex and the City 2, Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) may cheat on husband Mr. Big (Chris Noth) with ex Aidan Shaw (John Corbett) during a lavish trip to the Middle East — so hinted Corbett during a Monday radio chat for On Air with Ryan Seacrest.

“I can tell you that the girls go to Abu Dhabi,” the actor said of the sequel, out May 27. “And Carrie bumps into old Aidan.”

Corbett got coy when Ryan Seacrest asked whether Aidan has a spouse of his own, noting, “Aidan may or may not be married.” The Bradshaw-and-Big union, however, looks shaky in the trailer, Corbett said. “It doesn’t seem like things are going that well in that marriage.”

But, hypothetically, Seacrest asked, could Carrie and Aidan hook up again? “Oh yeah! Of course! There’s always that vibe,” Corbett replied.

The real-life Mr. Big was just as vague about Carrie’s marriage in an interview with Redbook. Chris Noth called SATC 2 “a great look into Carrie and Big’s relationship and what marriage means to them…No matter how long you’ve know someone, marriage changes some things in unexpected ways…And it’s a learning process for Carrie and Big.”

Christina Applegate Kept Engagement “Secret,” Says Alyssa Milano

Alyssa Milano says she was pleasantly surprised Friday when UsMagazine.com broke the news that her pal Christina Applegate was engaged to Porno for Pyros rocker Martyn LeNoble.

“I had no idea!” Milano, 37, told Us Friday at the Children Mending Hearts’ “Peace Please” gala in L.A.

Two weeks ago, when she and Applegate, 38, were shooting the comedy Hall Pass in Atlanta, “she kept it a secret,” Milano told Us. “The funny thing is, my husband is actually her agent, so she really kept it a secret from everyone! But I’m thrilled for her. They are an amazing couple, and I think they are great.”

Her tip to the bride-to-be? “Never forget to laugh!” said Milano, who wed Hollywood agent David Bugliari last year.

Case in point: Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, who recently made fun of Milano in Interview magazine. (“Alyssa Milano? What’s the last thing she’s done, Who’s the Boss? It’s like, ‘Who’s the boss, now, Alyssa?’” he said after she told Us she didn’t like his MTV show.)

She is laughing off his remark.

“I think Ronnie is funny,” she told Us. “He is silly. I’m sure people aren’t taking him too seriously with that stuff.”

She said she enjoyed recently shooting a Jersey Shore spoof. “It was super, super fun,” she told Us. “My brother came up with the idea to call Funny or Die. I called them on a Thursday; they pitched me the [concept], and then Friday we were shooting it. That’s how quick it happened!”

Bret Michaels: Without Surgery, ‘I Could Have Died’

He originally thought he could perform that night, but Bret Michaels now knows the extent of the danger he was in when he was rushed to hospital for an emergency appendectomy last week.

“They told me that if I had gone onstage like I wanted to, [my appendix] likely would have ruptured and I could have died,” the rocker and Celebrity Apprentice contestant wrote this weekend in a note to fans on his blog.

His recovery is going well, he says – but man, is he sore.

“When you’re not planning on having a body part ripped out of you, it can be a shock to the system,” he writes. “While the doctors are amazing in San Antonio, there is just no way around the fact that getting your appendix out HURTS. I have a pretty good threshold for pain, but this one hurts.”

That tolerance for pain could have been disastrous on the night of April 11. “I have played concerts with broken bones, extremely low blood sugars, the flu, colds, and all kinds of things before,” Michaels writes. “I tend to try to perform at all costs.”

But doctors intervened, perhaps saving the former Poison frontman’s life.

In the blog post, Michaels thanks his fans for their cards, gifts and well wishes, and says he will reschedule all the canceled shows for the summer and fall. And he also clears up the one obvious remaining question.

“Yes,” he writes, “there are hot nurses taking care of me, in case you were curious.”
